The Dragonborn DLC gives you access to Solstheim, a separate island from Skyrim and one of the areas that make up Tamriel, where you embark on a series of quests regarding another major character, Miraak. The island is incredible, featuring a vastly different atmosphere visibly as well as musically. These all help build up the ambience that make Skyrim so amazing and also my favourite game of all time.

Throughout the quests you explore many interesting locations such as temples, ruins and villages, as well as meeting new races and characters, some even accessible as followers later on. While the island does not seem anywhere near as large as Skyrim's map, it feels a lot larger when you are exploring it, especially compared to the large landmarks like mountains and most notably, the volcano outside Tel Mithryn. As mentioned previously, these all help to build the ambience of Solstheim, a warmer and darker land, home to the Dunmer (also natives of Morrowind). You can also get a very nice reward for following a simple chain of quests in the starting town, Raven Rock.

I've tried to avoid any possible spoilers but overall, this is a really good DLC and I definitely recommend it to anyone that does not have it. Personally, it is my favourite of the 3 DLC's. I have also reviewed Dawnguard as well but the added area, Solstheim, is so full of places to explore and interesting lore to discover, as well as having enjoyable quests, that it has to rank Dragonborn just slightly higher over the others.
