This game is what Live Service games should strive to be. Utilizing the concept of continuous updates and player connectivity to simulate a Galactic War in real time is incredible. This game will have you talking to your friends as if you are actual veterans recalling historic battles, such as the failure of the Ubanean Gambit, or the liberation of Malevelon Creek after weeks of battle.

The gameplay feels like Star Wars Battlefront and Deep Rock Galactic decided to get nasty. All the weapons feel great to use, with tons of variety in loadouts to bring with you on either the Automaton or Terminid fronts. And the Stratagem system will have you frantically failing to type in DDR Beatmaps all while an acid spewing monstrosity towers above you. You are equipped with a heavy armed Destroyer class ship, and you get to use that to full effect. Calling in orbital lasers, precision strikes, and actual nuclear bombs at the slightest hint of combat. You will accidentally kill your friends. Your friends will accidentally kill you. And it will never not be funny.

This is a game you could gush about for hours given the chance, and as such I'm cutting myself off here. It's easily one of the best games I have played, and well worth the price of entry. Now don your cape, and spread Managed Democracy in the name of Super Earth.

Never knew I'd learn something interesting from a Call of Duty game...
