Do not buy right now, the game is not worth $30.

It's extremely unoptimized. There's too much vertex data on the models and there is a giant mesh that connects the city and is always loaded. These are poor design choices that will require them to remake a lot of things. My CPU overheated many times.

Another issue that has been brought to light is that the developers are relying on many pre-made assets to get this game to function. Not that anything is inherently wrong with that, until you take into account the optimization issues and how inexperienced they are as developers. Basically, you can give them as much early access money as you want, but it won't magically make them good game designers. Supporting this game is a risk because you have to wait for the developers to learn how to optimize the core of the system they don't seem to understand.

Besides all that, yes the game is buggy.

Besides the bugs, there's no missions or story or characters, or really anything that resembles a $30 game. What you get is 3 of the exact same checkpoint race delivery side activities, and an enemy wave spawn side activity. It's extremely repetitive.

There's clothing and car customization to spend your money on, but the choices aren't really notable.
I guess the one thing I'll say that's fun about the game is shooting, but if I'm being honest, even that's basic.

Save your money for now, maybe check back on this game in a year if it really interests you.

Pros:
+ Combat is addicting and engaging. The various abilities and attacks the characters can do is what this game is centered around, and it's absolutely solid throughout the game.

+ All the agents are unique and fun to play. They vary quite a bit in their playstyles and there's an even mix of serious and comedic characters.

+ The map, while small, is absolutely beautiful. Platforming around the city, exploring, collecting items, and completing tasks are a delight. Ultimately the map feels much bigger than it is and I love every bit of it. View my review of the map here: https://youtu.be/pT2nKZsBG7A



+ Awesome campaign. Animated cutscenes, unique badass antagonists, interesting lore.


Cons:

- Activities can be shallow in addition to repetitive.
- Legion Lairs, while a nice feature, felt a little overused in the campaign.
- Glitches, bugs, crashes. With the latest patch most of them are fixed, but there are still some problems that need addressing.

A more nuanced video review will come later. Until then I'll just say this game is very fun for it's gameplay and I give it my recommendation.
