Easily the best fan mod for Portal 2 in terms of story and polish. The quality of the puzzles were on par with the base game. One thing that this mod gets right that a lot of others fail at is the witty writing. While not as quotable as the base game, the cores are fun companions and the writing has enough fresh stuff to not feel too much like a rehash of previous characters.

Everything clearly had a lot of time put into it. It has a degree of polish where a ton of care was put into things that the player would only see for a second. It does so much to improve the feel of the game.

It's definitely a good game for the price tag. However, I imagine that this game would really only engage the perfectionists who want to minmax everything.

There are a few really frustrating things about the game. First of all, there is no undo button. You can only clear everything. I can see the value in doing this. I found that it forces you to fully understand what it is you are constructing. However, a tiny mistake shouldn't have to cause you to start over. this shouldn't be like carving something out of stone. It just would be nice if you could, at the very least, only undo your last action.

The issue is made worse by the fact that everything is drawn with the mouse. While it adds to the game's aesthetic, it's not really conducive towards the sort of precision the game wants. I don't mind the minor wobbles that come from drawing lines with a mouse, but screwing up a road because my hand twitched is annoying.

These issues pop up every time you work on a freeway. It artificially inflates how long it takes to beat a level. When all you're doing is drawing roads, it just isn't enjoyable.

If you're able to look past these issues, you'll have a lot of fun with it.

Really good game. However, at the base of it all, it can be really clunky to do construction. The grind is sort of the main point of the game, but if that isn't your thing, then I wouldn't recommend it.

The gameplay for this game is extremely fun, espeically with friends. The entire time you feel like a badass.

The graphics are amazingly pretty, especially the samurai environments (though that is just my love for asian stuff). but you dont really get a chance to look at it because you are busy fighting.

The story writing so far is entertaining, but nothing feels of being of major impact, especially due to the fact that the characters you invest in disappear from the narrative after 2 missions or are thrown to the sidelines to only say a few lines later.

Multiplayer can feel great at first, especially if you are on par with the people you play with. However, the servers rarely so far have put me into a balanced game. 2 or 3 players usually dominate the game, while the other team is stuck with bots.

The most infuriating part are probably the crossbows. They take out enemies in one hit, which feels great at first, but is absolutely infuriating when you are in a serious duel and an arrow hits you out of nowhere with no way of countering it.

tl;dr fun gameplay, but rarely balanced in multiplayer.
