The best game of 2023 and the best game i have played in a very very long time.

100+ hours of content? Yes
Good graphics? Yes
Good story? Yes
Good and interesting mechanics? Yes

That above was my initial short review, it still stands but i want to dive a little deeper here now that i have played a lot more.

Storyline and charachters 10/10

Your choices truly matter, you can play the hero, you can be evil or something inbetween and you get a different ending.

Companions and npc:s are diverse, having unique storylines and twists and turns. Some are just plain evil, few are truly good and innocent and the rest something inbetween for you to decide.

Performance 7/10

Dont know how many fps but with a game like this i dont need 200+ fps and i dont really care as long as it doesnt feel laggy thats good enouch for me.

In my 150+ hours there has been a few cutscenes where it felt laggy and in act3 when loading the game or a new area the textures take a while to fully load, wich is slightly annoying and somewhat breaks the immersion to see houses with no walls and stuff floating in the air. Note that i have this game installed on an HDD drive wich are a lot slower with texture loading stuff so if that were not the case that issue might not exist atleast not to the same extent.

Bugs and crashes.
ONLY 1 crash so far in 150+ hours.
Act1: didnt notice any bugs.
Act2: didnt notice any bugs.
Act3: nothing gamebreaking however there were some bugs. Shadowhearts viewmodel went nuts once. Enemies were inside the ground a few times making me not able to hit them however this selffixed itself when they moved.

Combat mechanics 9/10

Combat feels good, bosses are unique and nothing feels too op, the classes are well enouch balanced in my opinion. Some battles feel a bit too long for my liking in tactician mode.

Balancing 5/10
This is where i take issue with a few things.

1. Wither is broken, unlimited camp supplies not that you need those anyway, unlimited buff spells for your charachters and to top it off you get everything for free by just pickpocketing the gold back from the wither.

2. Way too much camping supplies, having the ability to long rest after each fight makes arcane cultivations useless, durable feat useless and overall takes away from the tactical aspect where i dont have to worry about losing hp or using spell slots as long as i just win the fight, also somewhat makes healing potions feel useless unless i need them in the middle of the fight. I just personally would prefer potions feeling more like a tactical resource rather than something i save for just incase because long rest is my answer to everything, and also i would prefer if the damage i took in a fight carried over and had tactical meaning in me using my healing potions or being weaker in the next fight instead of getting a clean plate with long rest.

Very good game and a lot of fun if you are playing with friends but soloQ can sometimes be frustrating because the community is pretty salty so you will get salty russians very often as your teammates.

At first this game was fun and addicting for me. But after playing a lot i feel like it gets boring because its just too slow paced for me and also it still has a lot of fps drops and the movement doesnt feel so smooth when compared to other games like csgo, r6s and bo4 so i cant really recommend this game to anyone atm.
