I did play since WC3 Dota Garena days, peaked immortal rank 573 and no patch compares to how disappointing Outlanders is, the introduced jungle gacha drops is unbecoming of Dota. Valve has shown nothing but blunders recently: the complete Artifact fiasco, flopped Underlords (Valve's version of auto chess from which the idea of neutral drops came from but miserably failed yet somehow they decided to include it in Dota 2) and their forced Steam UI overhaul which was an utter disgrace.

Coincidence that SJWs run amok Valve's HQ banning anime tiddies? I think not. Icefrog no longer works for Dota 2 except in name to keep the followers coping and hoping for it to get better despite all garbage ideas coming from redditurds being implemented with zero thoughts put out on how these changes will affect the game and the player base as a whole.

Update 2020:
Valve's greediness for BP 2020 and the game for sure has taken a very big downturn. So many scandals by them. It was found out that the battlepass Collector's Cache votes is a false advertisement by Valve as they've already approved sets beforehand breaking the rules with jacked up polygon count and included particles which cannot be done through normal submission for the contest. To make matters worse, it's been a long con and this has been a thing for a few years already. The cheating workshop artists have connections with Valve and that explains why.

That's not all! Recently Valve censored everything in game and items that Valve themselves have named appear as asterisks (*). They destroyed free speech.

Want to know who controls the world? See which groups of people you cannot speak bad of or receive harsh treatments and censorship. Yep, the commie ♥♥♥♥♥♥ aka chinese and the jews.

Another form of false advertisement: the voice lines. After receiving false accusations with zero proof, Valve removed voice lines from the chat wheel, particularly Toby 'TobiWan' Dawson's "It's a disastah!" Imagine paying for The International Battle Pass 2020 just to have features removed.

Valve has done enough to destroy the game and it's only a matter of time for it to be reflected. Hopefully your non existent SJW twitter thot player base keep your game alive.

TLDR: DEAD GAME as Valve massacred Dota 2

You get to play as a ruling dynasty of whatever land during the medieval times. It's fun to manage your realm and try to survive conquering neighbors and your liege plotting to take all your holdings, or be the one to expand and become the target of coalitions.
An overall good political simulator where your vassals enjoy freedom and all the women in your family while you do all the heavy lifting defending against threats.

Good gameplay, simple yet fun. Amazing story too.
10/10 would recommend.

Simple yet fun game.

Only issue for me is returning to the main screen. You have to close the whole game and open it again,

Since the game will run instantly after reopening, this won't take away the value of the game.

Great game, sad to see it go, will stay forever in my memories.
