i think the game's p fun so far, but i hope they fix lobby menu controls for users with arcade sticks. can't use any directions in menus when in the open lobbies whatsoever

this game looks pretty as hell, but that's about all. if you play xrd for more than like, 1 hour, you can literally feel how this game is worse. this game lacks the mechanical depth and fun stuff from previous games; it's actually insane how underwhelming this game feels in comparison.

There's a fun game hidden somewhere in here, but it's certainly not a $60 one. Wait for a price drop below $30 tbh.

My only issue with the game was how I heard almost nothing about it when it released.

cool character creator and the creative spaces are a cool concept, but you could get a better social experience just going into vrchat and save about 100gb of space.

there's no meaningful content; loot and their potentials boil down to 'increase potency'; there is no meaningful or worthwhile story and it took them 2 years to do an exposition dump about the real enemy, which is just reskinned dolls; the open world is underutilized and exploration is only rewarded with meseta/sg; classes and their skill trees are completely watered down (especially compared to psp2 and pso2) and have no variety aside from boring stuff like more damage to downed enemies or slightly more pp regen; lacks quests at the quest counter; a good chunk of the urgent quests require a high enough battle power (which sucks if you wanna do stuff with friends new to the game) instead of having several variations based on level (which the game before it had); etc.

ngs is absolutely a bruh moment.

if you're looking to play a game, this isn't the game for you.
