Incredible dlc, a perfect add-on to the already amazing campaign. Love that you can use the scythe and fists in the main campaign after beating it as well B)

Six hours in and loving it so far. I adore how you often need to use your head to survive, and the roguelike aspect is honestly really well integrated with the personality traits system. Great game, highly reccomend.

Floaty and clunky combat, nowhere to explore but linear set paths, guns that lack any oomph to them whatsoever, and boring and uninspired zombie designs. The gore system tho is top notch, I just wish it'd have been used on a better game. You're not likely to enjoy this if you enjoyed Dead Island 1.

Honestly this game was really damn impressive, with creative weapons, satisfying gunplay and massive levels. Absolutely recommended. Bit of a heads up tho, I have a very VERY strong suspicion that one negative review in particular was written by a disgruntled dev, or potentially someone from the quake modding community who was dropped from the team (the devs pulled from the quake modding community to find people to work on Wrath). You might know it when you see it, so please take it with a grain of salt.

I'm not going to lie, the game itself isn't very good. It's visually *spectacular* and the monster design is so good and on par with Light Are Off's best animations, but gameplay-wise it's literally just "push a plank of wood to climb a climbing frame" 20 times over and over. It gets old very fast, and the visuals aren't quite enough to carry the gameplay unfortunately.

Honestly didn't click for me. Your rhythm is basically auto-corrected so it's very hard to not be on-time so there's no real reward for players with real rhythm skill, Platforming feels clunky and weighty. Combat's pacing feels inconsistent because of the changing of BPMs throughout each level.

When the monster feels like more of an annoyance than a legitimate scary threat, you know you've messed up in making a horror game.

I was actually amazingly surprised with this great little puzzle horror, incorporating elements from The Room and Five Nights at Freddy's to create a really unique horror experience. The puzzles were satisfying to complete to boot. Would absolutely recommend :)

Adore this game, seriously underrated roguelike with fun af mechanics and loads of unlockable characters with differing playstyles.
Avoid assignment anya tho - it's a homage to classic resident evil, but you have a tiny inventory leading to massive amounts of backtracking as you constantly go to and from the closest storage box. The map isn't great which makes it even harder to find the previously mentioned storage boxes. The gameplay itself tho is literally just walking around zombies and solving simple puzzles. Pretty disappointing
