I can't believe how good this game is, how much fun and excitement it can bring and how the f&#k is it possible that the metacritic score is lower than some other so-called AAA titles that are unfinished and downright disgustingly bad. This is something that defies the future of party games and in my opinion, that future is bright af.

The more the friends, the bigger the fun. 10/10

Damn it, I forgot to write a review earlier and I wanted to do it so badly before the game exits Early Access, but it seems I'm gonna do it now on the official Release Date.

TL;DR at the bottom.

I've had this game since Jan 2, 2017, so this is more of an EARLY ACCESS Review.

This game is just amazing, well for me at least. I have a taste for really cute and sweet things and this one tickles my insides. I still can't believe, that I've finally found a game that is so cute, it was the main reason I wanted to throw my money at it. The slimes are so intoxicatingly cute, it's sometimes hard for me to take it all in. One thing though - since this looks like a completely Family-Friendly Game and it's darn cute (yes, I can't tell you enough how amazingly cute it is), and normally you wouldn't expect any horror elements or jumpscares at all, but for me there was this experience.

I was casually collecting slimes and putting different types in a single box. Back then I didn't even know that the slimes can eat others' plorts, but when I found out I was fascinated by that fact. So, there were a few pink rocky slimes, two tabby ones and a phosphor one in a single box. Suddenly, one of the tabbys turned pink. I was like "Aww man, I liked the gray ones a bit more, but these ones are cute as hell, too." and that's where it happened. Out of nowhere, a slime I have never seen before appeared right in front of me. Back then I didn't know what it was called. Back then I didn't know what kind of a huge mistake I've made. It turned into a tarr slime. I literally jumped out of fright. I had no idea what was happening. I started to panic, heart BPM increased drastically, I felt like I was playing Outlast. I was just gonna back away from it 'till I chill out a bit, but then... I saw... that f***er... devouring one of my beautiful cute tabby slimes. My jaw dropped. I wanted to kill it. I wanted to bash its face in the ground real hard, untill it spits back out my precious slimes. So I decided that I would annihilate it. I went up to it, picked it up, went to the edge of the cliff and threw it in the vast sea, secretly hoping for the best case scenario where it would break apart in tiny pieces. I had high hopes (just realized there's a pun) for the height at which I threw it, I was absolutely sure that it would splat and then sink down to the bottom. Eh, I was satisfied anyways. I cooled off a bit and was happy that it was gone forever, but I realized I've lost both tabbys. I swore a bit and went off to find more tabby slimes.

All in all, a great experience. I then learned that even in the cutest games of all, there could still be some horrifying surprise to them. Well, in this case "horrifying" is a strong word, but it still was a jumpscare for me.

Aside from all that, it seems like I value aesthetically pleasing games very highly. The soundtrack is charming, lovely and relaxing. The game's also pretty stable, haven't experienced any crashes yet and no frame drops or lag spikes whatsoever. If I ever learn to code, I would love to work on projects like this game. Especially this one. I would love to work on this game.

I don't know what else to say, but that's all I can put in this review - personal experience and opinion. For me, the experience is awesome and memorable, and my opinion is that this game is ultra cute, and we need lots & lots of this type of games.

Thanks for taking your time to read my review. Get this game and go have some fun!

Luv u Monomi Park. Thank you for making this a reality!
Btw, omg there are plushies - slime plushies!

TL;DR
Aesthetically pleasing, cute 'n charming fun. Appropriate for all ages and overall a joyful experience. Cures depression and makes for a more enjoyable life. GF loves it. Totally recommend it 100%.

I would've never bought this crap, if it wasn't for the amazing soundtrack. Game design is 100% ♥♥♥♥, things are glitchy, buggy, call them whatever you like. I've wasted 100+ EUR on this and I don't even know why. Probably cause I'm an idiot.
