This game provides all the fun of fighting in Vietnam without the societal backlash and cultural exile.
Would recommend if you like napalm and shouting various semi-racist slogans over proxmity chat to the opposing team.

The price tells you all you need to know.
It's not $19.99.
It's not trying to sell you some garbage product with one cent off the top to make it enticing.
This game is comparable to buying an N64 at a garage sale.
The man says "$20 and it's yours bud."
You hand him the 20 and start a new chapter of your life.
The $20 is a bait and switch.
This game will cost you your life.

Is it fun? YES!
Is it difficult? YES!
Is there a story? I'm not sure!
Is the music good? HELL YEAH!

This game is like the weird physics-based medieval combat simulation brother of Terraria.
And by that I mean once you know the game there's a whole 'nother level of depth to master, and you simply can't put it down! By far one of the most fun games that i've picked up in a while.

The combat is hideously confusing at first, and in reading the other reviews before I picked up the game I was afraid that I would never figure it out. BUT, the dev(s) had this covered! The ingame tips in the practice arena alongside the manual led me to understand the system very quickly and now I like to think that I am quite adept at it myself.

Personally, I've only played the Campaign(?) once. It wasn't that great in my opinion and I'm here for the physics based combat anyways. That kind of fun for me was found in the Arena. The way it's set up makes you bond with your characters, especially if you train them all the way from warrior infancy. The exhilaration of barely pulling through a fight with your prized fighter is equally shadowed by the anguish of losing the one who has been with you the whole time. It's an emotional rollercoaster.

The level of customization and statistics to every item in this game is ridiculous, in a good way. It'll have you checking the pair of shoes on that peasant you've just slain because maybe... just maybe... those are velvet shoes with +1 puncture resistance...

Nothing is more satisfying than a one-shot kill in this game, be it with a metal rod or a bardiche.

I highly recommend this game.

Who else played 'car crash' as a kid?

Now you can play it as an adult!

Since the beginning this game has been phenomenal, I really do recommend searching through the depths of the devlogs just to see how far this masterpiece has come.
