It disconnect me from every other mission. I missed rewards out of half of my missions in a time span of 6 hours because of random dcs. The servers are literally awful.

Launch days are usually rough and that's understandable for the most part. My biggest concern is about server longevity. If you chose to play on a populated server at launch, you won't play much because of the Queues. If you chose a lower pop server, since the server capacity is quite low, you might get unlucky and end up on a server that's going to die off in 1-2 months from now when the hype calms down. Basically, you have two options. The first one is to choose a high pop server, the pro of this choice is the fact that you will most likely play on a server that won't die off after launch, the con is obvious, good luck waiting in queue for hours. Second option would be choosing a lower pop server, the pro is obvious, you get to play the damn game, but at the risk of the server dying off when the hype calms down, that would be the con. And a big con that is, a MMORPG on a half-dead server isn't the most enjoyable experience. Just my two cents about the launch. For some reason I can't use the name "Maxter", even though the name isn't taken. It just says that I can't use that name, no reason as of why. That's just me though, no one else would be bothered by that. The server problems will bother most players, not only me and that's a sad fact.

Early Access Review
After finishing most of Act 1 twice and messing around multiple times on different characters, I guess I have a pretty good grasp of the game. I won't go into details for people who are DnD fanatics, I'll just address some topics I've seen people talk and even cry about on the forums and all social media.

For people who hate bugs (which are to be expected in Early Access btw), the game is hella bugged atm, at least it was for me. Most people I know had less troubles with bugs than I did. I had the game crash, my characters would not respond to commands in combat making them useless and I had to reload, not being able to sleep while in camp and end the day, so on and so forth. Had to scum save the heck out of this game just to be sure I won't have to waste hours because of bugs. If you don't want to deal with them, don't play it yet. Simple as that.

People who say the game isn't as long (15-20 hours) as the developers said it is. If you rush to the end of Act 1 you can actually finish it in 4 hours or as soon as you hit lvl 4. I finished it in around 4 hours (time played on the save file) when I rushed it the most. If you go around to do the quests properly, side quests, explore the map, see what's here and there, it will take you longer than that. The estimated 15-20 hours is true for the people who want to finish the content entirely, not rush through the story. Not to count that you can do different playthroughs with different outcomes based on your decisions, basically you can replay the game in different ways and get even more out of it.

For people who say the gameplay is too hard. This is a tough one to swallow, I'm pretty basic with the rules of DnD playing a big of old BG and Neverwinter nights, the hundreds of Original Sin 2 hours surely helped, so it didn't take me much time to feel right at home with the change in mechanics, since BG3 and D:os2 are frankly quite similar. With that being said, I was able to adventure alone in the Underdark with my Eldritch Knight and not be totally destroyed. I killed most of the mobs in there entire solo, yes it was a lot of shoving off the edges and pulling with psionic pull, also off the edge, yeah, You gotta use whatever you got to win the fight, they're part of the gameplay, you can also kite with proper positioning, honestly just use your brain in the most creative way possible and you got it. If I can do it with one character, surely you'll be able to do with with 4 characters and maybe less sneak n' 'cheese' if you learn how to build your characters and how to position and plan your moves. Long story short, get better, I'm sorry to say that, the game at the moment is in a decent place between challenging and brain dead. With that being said, it isn't that hard, at least in my own opinion.

The story. Act 1 is basically setting the pillars for the story, so I won't go on about it as of yet, it's like complaining about a show in the first episode, you barely even met the characters bud, slow down a bit. Talking about the characters, so far most of them are really annoying, hope the character development will hit them hard or I'd rather go solo, to be honest. Same with the story, I won't critique too much as of yet, it might be just a slow start which will branch out quite well in the end, you can't know. Only time will tell if that's the case or not.

For people who say this is not BG or DnD. I honestly don't know what were your expectations. I'm not the biggest DnD or BG player, far, far away from it. I only played a bit of BG and Neverwinter Nights, never played DnD. My main point here is the world and the lore, I love the lore of the Forgotten Realms. I spent countless hours reading the lore and having a new game to explore that world I read and heard about so much is all I care for. Larian did a good job adding bits of lore and showcasing the beauty of the Forgotten Realms, so far if they keep it up in the upcoming Acts, well, all I have to say is that it will be enough to scratch the itch that I had for so long.
