I like the game.... but there are glaring issues. The fact that you can get stuck inside an animal or thrall, and be unable to make it move, unstuck yourself in any way other than suicide just proves that the devs A. do not care about those who play their game, and B. do not test their own game. Other egregious crap like non-administered official servers that have 200-400 ping on a regular basis, and you can't stay away from the game for too long, unlike in ark. You aren't even allowed enough time to go on vacation and come back and your base be in tact. 3 days, really?

It's just an unsavory experience compared to the first two games, in everything from the factions, the look of the game (more cartoony color scheme and feel), layout, and content. Some factions literally have 5 or 6 units.. In some ways it's pathetic. It's an obvious wait a while before you buy it title.

I was/am a founder of this game as well, and my overall recommendation for the time being is to pass on purchasing it. I still hold out hope that the game will change for the better in the future, whether near or future, but really who can say? The original plans, and the steam product page make it look as though they are trying to create a variety game, when in reality almost all of the items, units, weapons, and vehicles in game are mirrors of eachother. The weapons that you would expect to be unique are gimped, and nearly unusable for what you think they would be. Notable examples of disappointing mechanics are heavy bolters being less damaging than standard bolters, rokkits and las cannons (and etc) weapons being charge based weapons a la warframe bows, melee combat being rather hit or miss, the feeling of the game is overall more cartoony than a warhammer 40k game needs to be. The intent of making the game completely balanced has not only failed (the game doesn't feel very fair in comparison to better designed mp 3rd person shooters), but they have removed alot of the flavor in the differences between the factions, and the result is both unbalanced and bland, unfortunately. Hold out on buying it, it could very well improve. Time will tell.

I think this is a good game for what it is, it's definitely not "dreadful" like some other indie games that come to mind. The developer stated that this is a casual game, and he is on spot with that statement, if you like flash games/arcade style defense games this is right up your alley. It's not ultra involved, but it's not supposed to be. I'd like to see them update it with some more variation modes like some other reviewers pointed out, and in that case it would cover a much larger scope, but as it stands it's an enjoyable little game with a very reasonable price tag.

Okay, so I am and was a fan of this game. I sponsored it before the present day, I have bought things in microtransactions as well supporting the games development. That being said, I am really tired of the game. It is a pay-to-win fest, despite what people will tell you while you play the game. You CAN supposedly make all of the equipment in the game, but the people that do devote their entire lives to the game essentially, so yeah it's "That" type of game, like diablo 3 or Wow or world of tanks or something. Anyways, the game has enjoyable graphics, and play style, but at the end of the day it takes alot of effort to convince yourself that it's worth it to be this competitive for a player vs. enemy game, but it is just not. There's no excuse for the play to win finances of the game, other developers like that of path of exile don't go that route for example. The game also has absolutely wretched connectivity issues, not only do you have to up your ports for the game, but even after that point you will disconnect, lose connection to host, your friends/guildmates won't be able to stay connected, or the engine tasks you to play alone. I have been in hundreds of 4 player squads and we encountered an area where one of us couldn't stay connected in the game, and it wasn't even predictable, it would affect one of us then another. The developers are also working their keisters off to bring the players more guns, and warframes (characters), and stuff of that nature, but do not fix the issues with the connection, game mechanics, glitches, and etc. They also nerf items that the previous day/week you spend real mulah on, essentially ripping off the players they depend on funding their development, before their very eyes, and alot of them put up with it, which is sad. A game is not supposed to be this unfun, so I can't recommend it at this point.
