Amazing game. Play it over every so often just to have fun with the mechanics and refresh myself on the story. 10/10 would Pilot again.

Amazing game. Cant recommend it enough. In depth story, serious detail, and tons of things to explore. My only regret is now i've played it and i cant explore it all for the first time again. (But i can still try!)

A decent game, good survival system, weapons are ok, and always plenty of servers to play on. Graphics and playability are good. The game itself is good, however it has several major flaws that force me to give this game a bad review. For starters, your character is set from the beginning, and is not customizable in any way. This both removes playability, and kills the immersion of the game. Character creation is a crucial part of placing yourself in the environment of the game. Making yourself part of the game. Secondly the building system is hardly workable. From buildings that glitch through the ground to grass growing through your stone and metal floors. Ontop of the glitchy difficult to use building system, the constructs you build are all but unbreakable, and take extreme amounts of force (e.g: Explosives, lots of bullets, or fire) to remove/destroy. There is no better way to do this. When you build a wall, floor, or roof, then to add to your new home, or to upgrade the existing structures, you are forced to expend a good amount of your resources just to remove the flawed structure. Third off the PVE part of the game is too easy. Once you have established yourself, which is not hard to do, you have ample food, water, and shelter. The AI system is hardly a threat, even when you run into a bear, or other hostile animals, they provide little resistance and can be brushed aside with ease. As well as that, you quickly run out of things to do aside from raiding and killing, which i find brings out the worst in people. More content non PVP based would be nice. Since this game is in early access, I dont expect it to be perfect. No game is. Early access or no. I do hope it will be improved in the future however the character customization was one of the largest drawbacks for me, and the developers seem quite fond of it. If you are like me and value character customization and immersion, do not buy this game unless you are willing to make some sacrifices. It is a good play even without.
