Rest in peace :'(

The days when I'd just play MilMo ALL day as a kid were some of the best times ever. I will forever love this game!

Ten years have passed since the day I searched the internet for a free-to-play first-person shooter. That is when I discovered Team Fortress 2.

I immediately made a Steam account, went to the store, and searched for TF2. As the "Years of Service " badge suggests, this all happened in the morning of that day, but I wouldn't be able to play until the late evening - my internet was very slow back then. I used to play with ~170 Ping at pretty much any given time.

I started the download and headed out to play with my friends. Despite having fun outside, I was worried and I would constantly come and check on the download - I had to make sure it hadn't stopped.

When the time came to get back inside, I went and checked on the game with a friend of mine - who ended up getting the game like 4 years ago and now has around triple my hours.

I was ecstatic, so of course, the first thing I do is boot the game and get greeted with the beautiful TF2 soundtrack. Then I quickly get into a game of 2fort where I'm presented with the class select screen where I promptly picked spy. I was so excited to play as the Frenchman assassin.

After spawning I started trying to figure out how I could go invisible and I remember thinking that the Sapper was what made me go invisible. I remember confidently stating that to my friend - I was wrong. I wouldn't learn what the sapper was used for until much later in the game. After the disappointing realization that I would have to stab my enemies for a one-hit-kill, I started to think that this game wasn't as easy as I had anticipated.

Fast forward to today, I have amassed around 1700 hours on TF2, cementing it as my most played game to date - which will likely never change. Now, I know that isn't much time in comparison to many, but they were some of the best hours I've ever spent.

This game is a masterpiece.

Thank you Team Fortress 2 for all the fun.

Here's to another decade on Steam. (Even though I don't play as much nowadays)

Since i got this game I have never seen the sunlight...because this game killed me .

So,when you first see this game you think,"Oh,look another stupid clicking and idling game about making infinite amounts of virtual money"
You are wrong,well it is a game about virtual money,but it has so many feautures and there's regular updates that it takes a long time to experience them all and to be honest it is fun.I have to say i really like this game,but it might get a little repettitive if you restart and lose all your money in exhcange of angle investors which are worth it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
