Probably one of the best remakes ever put together - a huge amount of effort was made to create something quite special!

My first time to play a game in the Yakuza series, and it is enough for the next release on Steam (Yakuza Kiwami, an updated version of the original game) to be an instant preorder once available.

The main story plot was engrossing and had some absolutely brilliants twists and turns along the way.

But the majority of the 85hrs it took me to reach the end was in doing the side stories and minigames. These generally range from being a little less serious compared to the main story, all the way to just being absolutely insane. A lot of true laugh out loud moments in them!

The combat can be a little repetitive, although it remains a lot of fun switching between the different styles available to both protagonists (4 styles for each).

There are some performance reports in the forums, but I haven't encountered a single issue personally from start to finish except one minigame crash which was fixed in the first patch.

Massive recommendation from me, the amount of content against the price should make this a no-brainer of a purchase!

This may well be the most brilliantly insane game on Steam. I laughed so hard it made me cry at one point.

Tried to get through the prologue twice now, this just really isn't for me I guess as I found it incredibly tedious.
