I was skeptical when I bought this game because while I love action games and movies, making a cheesy action game that was like a movie seemed, I don't know, just odd. I was so wrong. This game starts out a little un-impressively, but it quickly becomes some of the most fun I've ever had playing games. You basically play Tom Cruise in like any Tom Cruise movie and the game feels like it's directed by Michael Bay, but not in a bad way. You feel powerful as Sgt. Rex Colt as you mow down enemies while barely getting scrateched, or you feel like Batman with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lasers if you choose the stealthy approach.

Gameplay: Pros-lasers, explosions, you feel like a total badass mowing down enemies, the headshots and stealth kills are so satisfying and fun, you have a variety of ways to play, nothing is too difficult (this is good for me but many people don't like it, to each his/her own)
Cons-I found most of the starting weapons very "meh", although this improves relatively quickly and isn't really an issue if you're stealthy

Story: Pros-hilarious, cliche in a good, mocking way
Cons-I get that this is the point, but I felt that the characters were waaaaaay too lackluster. I get that it's mocking cheesy action movies, but I feel like the villain in particular could have been more fleshed out.

Graphics: Pros-the environment looks great, the weapons look awesome, the water looks nice, and the game feels like the most generic summer blockbuster movie in existence, in the best way possible
Cons-you have to tweak it quite a bit in order to get the best settings, the lighting is poor in some areas

Audio: Pros-the music totally fits the game, the sound effects are cool, and the voice acting, while lackluster at times, is hilarious
Cons-this is a minor one, but the audio glitched a little for me at times

Also (SPOILERS AHEAD) there are DRAGONS THAT SHOOT LASERS FROM THEIR EYES. I MEAN COME ON. AND YOU GET TO RIDE ON WITH A MACHINE GUN ON IT.

Overall, I'd strongly recommend this game, although if you prefer games with fleshed-out characters and strong stories avoid it. If you like shooting lasers while you blow up 20 barrels of explosiveness, you'll like this game. Remember though, it does have UPlay, and while I'm fine with that many people aren't.

I was skeptical about this game when my friend first told me to get it. I'm not a fan of fighting games, and while I think Batman is both on of the best superheroes and one of the most interesting ones, I didn't really think a game like this--developed originally for the Xbox 360 and ported to PC--would do well. Boy was I wrong. Not only are the graphics surprisingly good, the audio (voice acting, fighting sounds, etc.) makes me feel like Batman. In particular, the voice acting is definitely some of the best I've heard in a video game. The fighting, though rather redundant, is still incredibly fun, though I did notice that countering enemy attacks was difficult. I may have been bad at it, but since I'm fine with it in the sequel to this game, Batman: Arkham CIty, I think it may have just been a minor issue in this game. The boss fights, while redundant, are quite fun and actually quite challenging. Furthermore, the story of this game is remarkably good. I never felt like I was playing through a fighting game with a story tacked on; it felt like a fighting game built around the story, in a good way. The atmosphere was top-notch and made me feel like Batman.

To summarize:
Pros-great atmosphere, solid gameplay, good graphics and audio, surprisngly good story, delivers an authentic Batman experience
Cons-Issues with countering, boss fights can be redundant, hard to get used to

Overall, I'd highly recommend this game.

This is a really great game with a solid story, good mechanics, and a fitting environment. I'd highly recommend it, especially if you've played another Bioshock game.

Pros: easier than the first, good mechanics, plasmids do more (I think), good environment, good graphics, solid story
Cons: the story can get confusing, it was easy for me, at least near the end

This game is great. It has a bit of a steep learning curve and ammo can be scarce, but it has pretty solid gameplay. Also, the story, environment, and voice acting are top-notch. Easily one of the best games I've played.

Pros: story is amazing, environment suits the game, voice acting is top-notch, gameplay is okay, graphics are pretty good
Cons: steep-ish learning curve, ammo can be scarce
