I've been playing Team Fortress 2 for maybe 5... 6 years? My profile might tell something different but, I've made plenty of accounts (4 or more) that lose control of: Because of a lost password or got hacked. But during those 6 years, TF2 got a good run, well... After the Love & War update, that would be the time I consider "The TF2 Devs Lost Their Minds" day. Team Fortress 2 had a great run, 9 years and it is still living. But when MyM update came, that is the first time I'm upset at the community and the devs. My eyes finally opened. People were complaining about Casual, but... Weren't we complaining about Quickplay too? Don't get me wrong, Quickplay was a great feature; it even says it in the name: "Play in a game quickly". But once you got on, there would be the toxic kid, friendly, try hard, and the person who will yell at their teammates. And I'm just saying, when I was playing casual, those are the same people I saw. I view casual and quickplay to be the same thing.

Over time I started to get sick and tired of TF2. I won't be surprised with the next person who played the game for 6 years agrees with me. And here is my recommendations for people who want to play something like TF2, but not.


Overwatch:

Overwatch is for people who want to want to play a new TF2-like experience. Its TF2 but not; if that makes any sense. You know that feeling when you play a game like TF2, but then you want to play TF2? Overwatch does not do that; it feels like you are playing something fresher and newer, Its the first time I view TF2 as a Free to Play game.

TF2 Classic:

Still want TF2 but with new gamemodes and no friendlies (Most likely)? Choose TF2 Classic, its kinda sad not to see a lot people. TF2Classic is kinda like that sibling that you like more. But TF2Classic can not beat TF2 itself, but It feels better in my opinion.
