Loved it. If you like submarine theme and some RP (when it actually happens), or just f-ing around with nuclear reactors and lives, I would definitely recommend the game. Sometimes it's all like SubCommander, sometimes it gives Mafia (the one with cards) vibes, some other times it's straight up DOOM.
Often ruined by trolls, griefers, prepubescent punks etc. But sometimes the drama is good and tasty, especially when said characters meet a competent resistance. Also some hosts are just mental. Also linguistic discrimination (mostly encountered on Russian-speaking servers).
But these are small downsides. Barotrauma is immensely entertaining. Any nasty situation may yield a fun experience with a weird twist, a simple mission may end in an unexpected bloodbath; one moment the sub is full of crew members, then after a while you struggle to find a single living soul other than yourself; Also proper teamwork can be really satisfying.

UPD I really love what devs are doing with this game. Bugs getting fixed, fresh content being added, some new mechanics, extended char customization etc. Way to go!
