Wow this game is good, the story is so well thought-through. The characters themselves, just learning more about them, is really good. Also, the multiple endings give this lots of good replay value, something which I plan on doing.

I completed it in 1 sitting, in around just under 3 hours. Quite short, but there are multiple twists which make you want to play it through to the end.

I recommend this to anyone with lunch money and 3 hours' free time on their hands. :)

I've been having lots of issues playing, as I apparently haven't got up-to-date DirectX 11. Everywhere says I need to update service pack, and there seems to be lots of people having the same problem as me. If I try to update the service pack it tells me I already have the update installed on my computer, yet the error I get when I attempt to run Daylight tells me to go to this page: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=36805 and I cant install that update because apparently I already have it.

From Gameplay videos and reviews I've seen the game looks great, only problem being I cant get it to start. I do recommend this, but only if you have up-to-date DX11 or Windows 8.1+.

If I get Daylight to work I will update my review and give an opinion from my own gameplay, for now, please add me if you know anything I can do to get it working.

Thanks.

This game is absolutely amazing. The whole concept of 'Dont Starve' is so simple, yet so easy to make HUGE. There are so many ideas you could get while developing a game like this, and the developers seem to have created and adapted their own ideas along with the wide open world and the lingering feeling of despair to create a downright great game.

The monsters, resources and yourself are all put together into a bowl and mixed about, combining the three and making endless posibillities for what can come out of a game. The characters you play themselves have unique personas which makes them their own person.

Not only does this game have fear, death and the constant feeling of dread, but it also creates a bond between you and your character, with laughs and creativity throughout.

For the 10 minutes I have played this, I havent enjoyed it. For me the graphics are dated, and the map layout and backstory of the game is rather boring. I like the whole idea of Centaurs, etc, but the whole Greek Mythology thing is hard to base a game around while keeping it original. The concept has been overused in video games/movies and only something amazing could rise to the top of the scene.

I'd rate it 5/10, judging on storyline, map orientation, textures and Centaurs.

The controls are confusing, and the game mechanics aren't fully working for me. I don't know why, but I find it near impossible to play, let alone win.

I've had a lot of experience with VDJ, and it's brilliant, depending on what you'd like to use it for. To create music from scratch, this isn't the software you're looking for. Maybe invest in FL Studio 11 or something, but don't compare software such as that to this. They're both made for different uses.

With VDJ there are many different things you are capable of doing, I tend to use it to edit pitch/key/bass/filter etc, whereas software like FL Studio is to create music completely from scratch, and is a lot harder to use.

VDJ is very easy to use, it took me under an hour to be able to do all of the basic things, and now I've pretty much discovered all of it's features, and there are many.

However, if you are considering buying VDJ 7, go to the official website and buy a subscription to VDJ 8 or download the home version there. I've used VDJ 8 a lot lately off-steam and it has a lot more useful features and is a lot more up-to-date.

That's all, I highly recommend you buy this if you will use it for the reasons above.
