So this is a short review of No Man's Sky. Ive played this game all night since release (which totals for around roughly 6 hours at the time of writing this review). Im going to quickly explain the PROS and the CONS to buying this game

PROS

- Quirky, original gameplay
- Truly openworld with quests and missions
- Intricate crafting system
- the procedually generated life and planets are really good and everything is quite different
- Beautiful artwork
- A new, fresh take on the open-world, survival, exploration genre
- Intricate market system, where you can buy and sell things for different prices depending on rarity and demand in that particular area. (This is one of my favorite parts of the games as I love doing trading in other games such as TF2).
- Really cool procedually generated music, (great job from 65daysofstatic)

CONS
-THIS IS NOT A MULTIPLAYER GAME (This isn't neccersarily a con just wanted to make sure that you knew)
- My pretty powerful PC has trouble running this game, it works and it is definitley playable but it experiences frequent lag due to fps drop. (I had to limit my fps to 60, which can be done through in-game settings, which is nice, I guess.)
-A lot of people cannot even start the game at the moment, (I am sure that HelloGames will fix this very quickly)
-I can see this game getting quite boring very fast for certain people, after a couple hours of gameplay you are simply doing slightly different variations of the same thing with very little change. (However there have been a couple moments where cool things have happened an I am sure that they will continue to, just not at the pace that some players would have liked.
-The graphics can be quite grainy. I have a gtx 970 nvidea graphics card and at certain points in the game the ground looks grainy (particularly when you are flying high up over planets and you start to see details on the surface rendering in.

Now the real question is, should you get it.

I think its a good game with the potential to become a great game but unfortunatley, the lack of new game mechanics being introduced and the very grindy progression, will definitley not appeal to everyone. However it will appeal to some people and those few people who like it will have a great time with this game. From this alone I would say, if you want a new, unique version of the open-world, survival, exploration genre, go for it, just note that the progression is slow and the gameplay is extremly consistent. (Go here explore that, see an alien, mine, sell, buyt, repeat in different order) However there is the issue of lag. Manjy people seem to be experiencing such bad lag that the game is virtually unplayable and in some cases, literally won't even make it past the title screen. You may be lucky like me and only experience minor fps lag and no crashes, but I feel like the game is to unstable to be bought in its current state. I have no doubt that HelloGames will fix the lag and make it a better gaming experience and that is why I am still reccommending it, but maybe wait until the problem is actaully fixed before you make the desicion to spend £40 on a game.

CS:GO Review
CSGO is quite possibly the best competitive FPS that exists. I have spent countless hours, (actually you can see how many i spent, so maybe not countless) playing this game and I love it. It's idea is very simple however Valve has perfected it to make a masterpiece of a game. All weapons adjust to different playstyles and you can choose what you like to use. Because all weapons cost different amounts of money, there are no difinitive weapons that you have to use all of the time. For example statistically the Ak-47 is a far better weapon than a UMP-45, however if the UMP-45 is cheaper, and with some skill you could kill someone with and AK. The 30 round 5 a side competitve games are great at just about any level. You get paired up with people who are around your same skill group, and most matches are close, making you feel like you really worked to get that victory, (obviously not in all cases). As well as this everything you can purchase for real money in this game is purely cosmetic and in no way benefits a player that uses it. In conclusion this game is great and if you can pick it up for £5 in a sale I could not recommend it more.

This game, (going to refer to it as that due to the lengthy title) is amazing. You wouldn't believe it to be possible for a small Indie Dev to pull off such an immersive action-packed stealth game. As said by others the AI of the guards is spectacular, meaning that you have to co-ordinate well-planned attacks to get into the building unnoticed. The fact that all of this is on top of a mountain with breath-taking views makes the game visually-stunning and emmersive. The real-time combat system and the open world destructable environment makes this nothing short of a skyrim with guns, in the future mixed with a James Bond film, with one scary tiger.
