Counter-Strike: Source is the epitome of the few games that have aged qute well since their release when we were just fledgling gamers. For some of us, Counter-Strike holds a special place in our hearts. We get a overwhelming sense of nostalgia that races through our concious when we reminisce about our moments in Counter-Strike. I was first introduced to Counter-Strike, or more specifically, CS:S, some time in 2009, through a YouTube video of the community made mod Zombie Escape. I knew immediately from that point on that I absolutely had to play this game. The propsect of pitting humans and zombies against one another enticed me, though at this time I had no real clue as to what the actual base gamemode of CS:S even entailed. Around the same time of this discovery of mine, I became so engrossed in other video games that I became sidetracked, only to start up my escapade in Counter Strike around late-2013. Ever since then, GFL has been my main source of quality (and autistic) Zombie Escape. I have always loved the community, I have always loved the players, I have always loved the fond memories which I have accrued from my time on GFL, and most of all.. I have always loved soloing maps, only to make BOT Keith mad. If you could not tell, I have no regrets with my time playing Counter-Strike: Source. I am grateful for everything that GFL has stood for these past few years. My only hope now is to see GFLClan.ru live and prosper on, to spread it's wings and prosper so greatly that I can continue to make more friends and have so many more pleasant and humorous memories. As far as I can tell, for the foreseeable future GFL and CS:S still have so much more time left to live.
