Iceborne dlc made it more appealing to me. Base MH:W lost a few important aspects to monster hunter games that made it less than satisfying to play, especially toward the end-game. The new dlc added many great sub-species and some awesome elder dragon fights. It also added some great combos and moves with the clutch claw for the hunter to use as well. I'd say this game is absolutely worth it if you're wanting a game to grind for a lot of fun hours.
