I'm Completely baffled by the mixed reviews to be honest with ye. The game is fantastic on so many levels. I think most people have gone into this game with the wrong mindset. Think more of this game as an RTS of sorts rather then a Simulator only. Hotkeys exist in the game and work fantasticaly. There is a pauze option in the game on lower difficulties as well so people complaining about that one i dont even know where they've been looking but it aint on the screen that's for sure.

Fantastic game! great replayability especialy given the fact you can frankenstein your dice and accend them to your next playtrough. well job devs!

I really wanted to like this game, i really and honestly did.
From the video's i've seen it felt like the successor to Industry Giant 2. But it ain't. it is a very dull game.

My main gripe with the game is that you are sitting and waiting alot for something to happen. like i said before it is simply dull.

the tutorial itself is just a bunch of text being slapped at you. It doesn't do a good job of explaining the goal of the game, is there even one? except making money ofcourse.
this might be defended with an argument going something like: ''but in order to progress in the tutorial you have to do specific tasks that you are being told'' and whilest yes, that is a great way to put up a tutorial. it leads me to just click the buttons to progress without actualy prosessing what im doing and why i should be doing it.

After the tutorial i tried my own career game, and i had some initial fun, starting the game you need to pick a town you are going to put your headquarters down and make the mainfocus of your production, i went for a mediumsize town wich had a farmers market, a hardware store and a toyshop.
i started off with a woodproduction for the wholesaler, that is an easy starting point, i struggled a little with the distribution of goods to start with but that was quickly resolved by looking around in the menu's until i found the way to send my products to said town.

with my initial setup done i decided to continue one with the farmers market, they needed eggs and wheat. because both of those fit in a same like production chain i decided to go ahead with that next.

A few other orchards and farms later my money was gone. and even though i was making a surplus i had to wait for a considerable amount of time on the highest speed to be able to even afford the next production chain. this however took me a little too long and decided that enough was enough and quit the game. this was my entire experience, a fun start turning dull real quick.

few things that i dislike as well, when i had my egg production up and running i was producing chicken as well. now, this particular town didn't buy that chicken, two towns over they did however. this is a thing i do not understand, what makes my townspeople not want to eat any chicken? what makes town A so different then town B that they dont eat chicken meat? makes no sense.

The roadsystem is a bit weird as well, in most builders you can connect a new road next to the other road and voilá it would've been that, in this game however you need to connect it to the existing road, and to the start of the building you are trying to connect up. It's a minor thing yet frustrating, In real life if a governing body would build a road next to the other, would't they connect them as well? why would they all of a sudden put two roadblocks?
once again, minor but since i'm throwing everything out there, might as well put this one in it.

the automatic collection range of the warehouses is a weird system, haven't had any trouble so far but that is because i only had enough money for 1 town. if i had say an copper resource nearby my warehouse, but it is destined for another warehouse, i don't want to waste one of my already very few destination routes to send copper a different way.

that leads me to another thing, why are there only 3 destination routes available per warehouse? having a look around in the techtree allowed me to discover another + 6 for a warehouse, so in total 9 destination routes. there are WAY more different things you might want to ship over to a town then 9 individual items, mind you by the way, that is only plausable if all those 9 individual items are being produced within the warehouse's range. Otherwise you are already spending a potential destinationroute to outside its automatic collection range.

this might be getting debunked by throwing the argument: ''just build a second warehouse''. and yes, that would fix this problem indeed, to an extend. but first of all, it would require more upkeep and a new roadsystem. Secondly, it would be much neater to have 1 warehouse per region. you could even make a tiersystem like in Industry Giant 2 where there are multiple sizes of warehouses. small ones for a small production chain, where the final product could be shipped to a massive warehouse somewhere in the middle of everything, and from there go to a medium size warehouse nearby the town to then get distributed to said town.

giving a greater amount of buildings to the game as well, which in turn is a bit of a thing as well, from what i've seen, there aren't that many building types.

lastly i want to touch on the UI. Let me say that it is amazing to see that you can scale the UI to your liking with the + and - key, its a feature i have not encountered before myself but is very good! that said. maybe it is due to lack of experience and exposure to the game. But i sometimes couldn't for the life of me find the buildings i was looking for. I, myself am a sucker for small UI and thus played with such UI. that said, from ''a distance'' most buildings looked alot like eachother. all buttons are white as well. which does make it pleasant to the eyes, but doesnt make things stand out as much. the Tech-tree could have coloured beakers instead of a white bubble branching off to three other white bubbles next to two otther white buttons, in a row of white buttons.

I will have to refund this game for now and hope that i can pick it up in a sale after there has been worked on by the devs for a while.

a little thing that pains me to see as well is how the developer(s) is/are reacting on negative reviews as a whole on steam, it feels like they are defending themselfs on all critique that is coming their way and that kinda grinds my gears to be honest. It is not like any of your customers are being negative about a game just to be negative or to be nasty, it is simply a way to reach the developer and say: ''i played the game, i have a few gripes with it, do with it as you wish with the information i am throwing at you, i hope you listen so more consumers will enjoy this game''

i like the concept dont get me wrong, but the UI is a horrible mess, and way to many buttons and shortcuts to remember. i hope the next one will be better in this regard.

Early Access Review
I do like the game quite a bit, the pixel artstyle fits this game well, the story feels a bit dull in the beginning for me personaly. but later on you'll get invested in it. the combat though... oh damn the combat feels so nice! its a weird way of doing it (which by all means doesnt mean its bad!) the combat is semi-turnbased...? thats the best way of putting it. you command your little group and give them their orders, the AI does the same and then you let it all play out simultaniously. i wish there was more chapters as of now but alas, only two chapters are out right now with two bossbattles. with music of EPIC proportions

pros:
- nice artstyle
- awesome music
- decent AI
- an OK story (not great but it keeps you intrigued)
- a new twist to strategy by using this combat system

cons:
- there isn't a whole lot of replayability as of now
- in the later stages of the game there is this brown tank-type enemy which such a hassle to take down because he is blocking your attacks 90% of the time
- the camera controlls with either shift or mousewheel is a bit finicky sometimes

me personaly would prefer this game over a game such as witcher or darksouls. i know these types of games dont match with eachother at all but im rating it to how much i enjoyed the game. for me (if there would be alot more content then there is now) this game would probably get in my top 10 list for 2017.

9/10 would support developers again!

i like some visual novels but this one just isnt it. the voice of the main caracter is annoying AF, there is this weird creepy clown music in the background and every 20-40 sentences the chapter ends and you have to click the next one which totaly breaks the immersion... alas i would love to recommend but there are too many design flaws which makes it so i have to force myself to read every sentence. that being said, I only read the prologue and chapter 1 and 2... story wise it could be worth something but i cannot for the life of me get to that point. the art is the only thing keeping this thing dropping to a 1/10

3/10 the art is stunning, thats the only redeeming factor

it took me about a day to complete the storyline, i goto say, i am impressed with the feelings this game manages to convey to the player, you will be very immerged in the game, in the storyline that is. although the amount of money asked is quite steep it is certainly worth every penny. now if you will excuse me, i have to beat this game in hardcore mode....

now... i don't want to bash new content creators but in it's current state it's ♥♥♥♥.
I will put down everything that is wrong with the game, once again not to bash the creators, but to help them make better games in the future:

first of all: im guessing it's either polish or russian, either way the firerate/??? is in polish/russian (but i'm guessing it means seconds)
there is no options menu.
the gamesounds were just off, too much music, and no way to turn it down
you promised a very hard game, well for the first 4 levels it was quite the breeze to get through the game
I'm hoping this is a student's project or something in terms of the art, because it was to say at best ''okay''
furthermore the UI is terrible, I struggled to figure out what towers do what (which is even worse by the bad english the description gave) I haven't found where my resources are which leads me to just clicking and hoping i'v got enough funds to upgrade/build my towers
also, a thing that is bugging me a bit is the fact i have to chose english or polish/russian (again make a options menu for that)
I think that concludes it....
then again it is only a €2,- game (€1,40 in sale at time of writing this review)
good luck on making a new game! i hope you'll do better next time.
