its a awesome game to play with your friends, it still holds up now, art style is timeless, the writing is gold, and the gameplay is hecka fun. it can get grinding at time, but thats always a choice, if that's not your cup of tea there's plenty of unique and fun quests to go on. its also a great game to play alone but it shines with friends

Its even fun for scrubs

im very subpar, i cant do much combos, but me and my friends play it once in a while and we have just as muh fun with it as we had with its inspiration, smash bros. i actually even find it to be easier to pick up than melee, thanks to how smooth it feels.

While i might be late to the party, i still think the game is a great today. the learning curve is pretty dang hard, esspecially since the game doesnt have any sort of matchmaking system. With that said, if you just keep at it long enough to learn the basics youll still manage to have a blast. i know i did.
