Its okay I guess.

PROS:
Game was very fun, tech web was an interesting change, but in my opinion it maybe made the AIs too weak because they tend to not focus on affinity techs as much. Warfare is pretty cool. Liked aquatic cities. DIplomacy is good, and I like being able to take techs from civs I beat in war. War points system is an improvement. world choice is a fun feature.

CONS:
diffulculty levels were a joke, nothing like civ v. I beat "immposibly hard" (highest difficulty) on my third game playing rising tide, while it took me years to get good enough to beat diety on civ v. bit laggy but civ games usurally are. games get repetitive sometimes, but hybrid affinities gave improved that from base civ beyond earth.

OVERALL:
its a very fun game but not as good as regular civ v
