TF2 is a masterpiece of game design, and Valve doesn't deserve it anymore.

Now they chase trends by copying Blizzard games, messing around with VR only to make mediocre VR games, and have weird cliques that prevent people from working on anything productive. But they get away with it because they can coast off Steam profits for the rest of time.

Valve was probably the best game studio of all time, and TF2 is my favorite game. It's tragic that both are shadows of their former selves.

Jet Set Radio Future is one of my top 10 favorite games, and this both improves on and splits off from it in lots of different ways. The skating is a beautiful blend of Jet Set Radio with some mechanics from Tony Hawk, and it's so good that it excuses a lot of the little janky things like combat and sound design and a lack of a map legend. The areas themselves are crazy big and it works so well since you can keep you combos going for a while, but there's lots of secret areas too that are fun to find and get to. The soundtrack is amazing: it sometimes hit the same peaks as JSR and JSRF but everything is consistently good unlike the two of them. The story is alright: it feels like we just saw the first act and the story before a big twist was more compelling in some ways.
If you're focused solely on gameplay and presentation, there's so much to love here. I really can't wait for DLC or BRC2, because if they can iron out the minor issues this game has while adding more content, then it'll be basically flawless.

They stuck to a concept and went all out with it, and made it so good I can't get it out of my brain. Action and platforming to the rythym is brilliant. Pretty great action for someone still getting into action games, made top-tier by the rythym mechanics. The stages are nice and big and replayable with addicting collectables. Music can be insane at times, can't wait until modders give us custom track tools. Not the best bosses in an action game, but unforgettable with how fun the fighting is. Story and characters are okay which somehow made fighting the obligatory cyborg ninja boring.

You'll be hearing a crowd chant "Chai! Chai! Chai" when you're not playing but it will totally be worth it

It's alright. Some parts felt relevant to me and I see the appeal of being meta with game mechanics before that was a major indie game thing. I would absolutely cut the mom in this out of my life.

Can't believe this was a catalyst for fascists coming out of the woodwork. I damn near fell down the anti-SJW hole but then I turned 18. ♥♥♥♥ the closeted ♥♥♥♥♥ on 4chan, ♥♥♥♥ Gamergate, ♥♥♥♥ Peter Thiel, ♥♥♥♥ capitalism, and ♥♥♥♥ anyone right of center

This is a dream come true for Star Wars fans if you have a flight stick and a VR headset. Haven't touched multiplayer yet. I would definitely spend the money on a cheaper headset and basic flightstick alongside the game just for this experience.
