The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a lovely little game with creepy concepts and a great difficulty curve. There's literally hundreds of items to find and thousands of different ways you could play the game - it expands on the original in a way that would be innovative to old players yet not alienating to new players. Whilst the story is somewhat lacking unless you dig as far as you can into the theories and subtext, there's enough scraps to keep you wondering and interested in what it all means. Brilliant game, definitely recommend this to anybody.

Wonderful game, brilliant concept, and it introduces a couple of mechanics throughout the game that keep things interesting - unfortunately, it's incredibly short. The storyline really isn't that long - and that's coming from somebody who isn't very good at the game. However, there are plety of challenges and there's an endless mode that could keep somebody captivated for hours - it's just too expensive to currently justify buying it. I'm going to recommend it, because I love the game, but I highly suggest you wait until you get a discount code or it goes on sale - it's £18 right now, which is far too much for a game that offers little but a clever mechanic and a beautiful shatter effect.

I like the idea. Don't get me wrong, I do. It was a pretty nice game, with some pretty nice dialogue, and a nice trip back to simpler times. The main twist of the game (I don't want to spoil it) is what puts me off it. It's clever, and poetically? I like it. I just feel like Life is Strange had a far better way of portraying the final message. Overall, I'm gonna say I would maybe recommend it - but don't be too surprised about the twist.
