It's a challenge, but it's definitely worth it.

Final Fantasy XIV is a game I'd recommend to anyone who loves Final Fantasy, regular RPG style games, and MMORPGs. It can feel a little grindy and slow in the beginning of A Realm Reborn, but I feel the gameplay really takes off when you reach level 30. Ultimately the best parts of the game are the main story line, the music, the NPC's, the open world, and of course the community. Definitely my favorite MMO to date, and if you're on the fence about it, as of patch 5.3 the free trial lets you play to level 60. That's a lot of content for free, so if that doesn't entice you to give this game a shot I don't know what will.
