What is the Bible?

I believe that the Bible is the complete and authoritative Word of God that comprises both the
Old and New Testaments. The Bible is directly inspired by God Himself, and is incapable of
being fallible. The Bible is complete, and should not be omitted or changed. Though human
beings wrote the Bible, the Holy Spirit guided them to write the Bible in the way that God had
intended for them to write it. The Bible is the final authority when it comes to faith and practice,
and it should be used as a guide to live by. The Bible is the way that God presently
communicates with us, and there is no issue that cannot be solved with the Bible. The Bible
should be studied so that men of God shall be equipped in order to carry out the work that God
has sent them to carry out.

Who is God?

I believe that God is the creator of all, and He has revealed Himself in three different persons.
These persons are God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Though God has been
revealed in three different persons, He is still one single being, one single essence, and one single
glory. God is infinite, eternal, sovereign over all, omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. God
never changes His mind, and God’s word is the true final word on any subject matter. God is a
holy and righteous judge who cannot be bribed or bargained with. However, God is rich in
mercy, and He is gracious, good, and loving.

Who is Jesus Christ?

I believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is God incarnate, and is the expressed image of the Father
in human form that came to Earth as a man in order to pay for humanity’s sins. Though Jesus
walked as a man, this did not make Him cease to be God. Jesus’ purpose for coming to Earth is
so that He can show who God truly is, and so that He can provide humanity a means to obtain
salvation through His death alone. Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit, but entered the
world through the means of being born of the virgin Mary. Jesus was both God and man
simultaneously, and He was the only completely perfect man that ever walked on Earth. Jesus
was completely without sin, and this is why He was the only one who could pay for humanity’s
sins. All of Jesus’ teachings are entirely true, and He lived as an example to show others how
God wants people to live. The purpose of Jesus’ death on the cross was to be a substitutionary
sacrifice that is able to cover all of humanity’s sin from past, present, and future. Jesus’ death
alone is completely sufficient to provide salvation to all who receive Him as the true Savior. Our
justification is grounded in the blood that Jesus shed while on the cross, and this has been
certified to be genuine by His physical resurrection from the dead. The Lord Jesus Christ
defeated death, and He ascended to Heaven with His glorified body. As of current, Jesus is
seated at the right hand of God as our Advocate, Savior, and High Priest.

Who is the Holy Spirit?

I believe that the Holy Spirit is God, and is whom we receive when we are given the Gift of
Salvation by repentance and trust in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit of God is a person, and He
both regenerates sinners and indwells the trust of believers. He is the agent by whom Christ
spiritually baptizes all true believers into His body when He died on the cross. The Holy Spirit is
the seal by whom God the Father guarantees the salvation and everlasting life of true believers
unto the day of redemption. He is The Divine Teacher that helps believers understand the Word
of God, and He convicts people of wrongdoing. The Holy Spirit is sovereign in the distribution
of spiritual gifts that are given by Him. The Holy Spirit performs many miracles within a saved
person, including completely removing sin from that saved person.

What is Salvation?

I believe that salvation is a free gift of God’s grace that is given through faith in the payment that
Jesus made while He was on the cross. The death of Jesus Christ completely accomplished
justification through faith and redemption from sin. Jesus needed to die in our place because He
had no sins of His own to pay for. On the third day, Jesus rose again to confirm that He was
victorious over sin and death. Salvation can only be received by God through grace and faith in
Jesus Christ alone. God gives the gift of salvation when a person completely repents of all of his
or her sins, and places trust in the payment that Jesus Christ made as being sufficient to pay for
his or her sins. Nothing is required to maintain true salvation, and it cannot be removed from a
person provided that the person is a true convert (not sinning willfully). The Holy Spirit changes
a person from the inside-out in a process called sanctification. This process is started when a
person is born-again, and this occurs when a person first receives the Holy Spirit from God.
Good works and obedience to God are not directly prerequisites for salvation, but they are indeed
necessary to show evidence of genuine salvation. The Holy Spirit convinces believers to want to
walk in obedience with God, and inclines them to perform good works in His name. Because
Christ’s sacrifice was perfect, all who have received Him as the Savior and are repentant are
forever secured in salvation, and this is sealed by the Holy Spirit. Salvation cannot be bargained
with or earned with works, for this would be bribery. Since God is a perfect judge, He cannot be
bargained with.

What is the Church?

I believe that the Church is the current living Body of Jesus Christ here on Earth, and is not a
physical building. This body is a spiritual organism made up of living believers in the present
day. When a believer is baptized in the water, this is an outward expression of one displaying a
testimony to Christ. This baptism is done to symbolize a believer dying on the cross with Jesus,
and returning completely cleansed from sin. The Lord’s Supper is a remembrance of Christ’s
death and shed of blood. The purpose of the Church is to represent Christ not only to the world,
but to other believers. The Church teaches believers to obey God, to testify his or her faith in
Jesus Christ as the Savior, and to honor Him by living a blessed and holy life. The Great
Commission is the primary objective of the Church. The Great Commission is the obligation of
believers to witness in all ways possible to prove the truth of God’s Word. The gospel of Jesus
Christ is to be preached to ALL the world, and there is currently nothing a person could do that
God would not be able to forgive, as The Unforgivable Sin cannot be committed in present time.

What are Angels and Demons?

I believe that angels are real, and they have personalities. God created angels to serve Him, and
to carry His messages out to certain people. This was mostly done during the Old Testament, but
still occurred in the New Testament. Satan exists and so do demons. Satan is a fallen angel who
led a group of angels in rebellion against God. Since they rebelled against God, they are fallen
angels, and are commonly known as demons. Satan is the true enemy of both God and man alike,
and his demons are servants who carry out evil. Satan and his demons will be eternally punished
in the lake of fire during the Great Judgement.

What happened to humanity?

I believe that humanity came into existence by the creation of God alone. Humanity was made in
the image of God, but this is not a physical image. It is more of a spiritual image, as humans are
able to make moral decisions, and to judge right and wrong. Due to the Fall of Man, all of
humanity has inherited a sinful nature, and as a result, all human beings willfully choose to sin.
Sin is exceedingly offensive to God, and humanity cannot remedy this fallen state on its own.
