I had the absolute pleasure of being involved in the earlier closed play tests, open play tests, and dev play tests. Throughout this time, I have found that Battle Bit has a charm that is entirely difficult to translate into media and marketing materials. You really can't touch on how much fun and chaotic this game can be, along with the VOIP feature, in a simple preview or review. You HAVE to play the game to truly understand why SO many people love this game. Plenty have touched on the gunplay, graphics, features, gameplay, and mechanics of the game, I really want to focus on the charm and fun of the game.

People voice acting in VOIP after going down or when calling for a medic, being rushed by a squad of 20 and defeating them with your sqaud of 10, holding down a single point all game with your squad through wave after wave of enemies, healing and bandaging your squadmates as grenades and gunfire rain down upon your position. None of these experiences are exclusive to Battle Bit, and we have had battlefield, AA titles, and indie titles enter this space promising similar experiences. None of them have touched on what Battlefield 3 delivered anywhere near as well as Battle Bit does.

Persistent servers, area VOIP, clearly defined roles within classes (except support I suppose,) match text chat, these all contribute to the charm and fun of the game. They are features, yes, but they aren't necessarily the first features you think of when you look at older BF titles. However, they contribute to the overall experience and charm of the game that I find so addicting. Alongside the gunplay and everything else, of course.

It may not be for you, you may not end up enjoying the game at all. But if you love FPSs and have found a gap within your gaming library left by the days of Battlefield 3 solo or with the bois, this game will 100% satisfy that need. The game plays well, audio is stellar, guns feel generally balanced (use the vector if you know whats up tho) and the overall experience is everything I have desired in any mass multiplayer, large battlefield shooter.
