Definitely the weakest of the 3 modern Wolfensteins, but still a fun ride. The story is pretty camp at times, and a little cringey/tryhard at others, but the emotional moments hit hard, and overall, it's one of the stronger points in this game's favor. I don't think this game was play tested thoroughly, and some moments are super immersion breaking. The gunplay and action sequences are great, but stealth just ends up being super baby, easy mode most of the time, and super frustrating at others. There's also some awful design decisions regarding the human models that reach into full on uncanny valley territory.

Gameplay:
- If you silent kill an enemy having a conversation with another enemy, the living one will walk away as if nothing happened. Doesn't even notice the dead body.
- Some walls that should provide full cover absolutely do not, and you get seen through them.

Visuals:
- Nearly everyone's eyeballs are set too far forward in their heads, so it looks like their eyes are bulging out of their heads.
- The decision to render every hair on their head, brow, and eyes soaks up so much memory, and doesn't even look good. So many characters look more like babydolls with rooted eyelashes because of the hair rendering and bulging eyes.
- It is a straight line from the back of the head, all the way down the neck for a lot of characters, and I wonder if any people trained in human anatomy actually worked on the human models or not.

I like it, and I've played through it 3 times so far, but it's weak in comparison to the others. On sale, I'd totally recommend it, but I wouldn't pay full price for it.

Best gameplay of the bioshocks, imo. I've played it about 12 times. :<
