It was a very good game, until Sony and Arrowhead decided to bonk everyone over by making account linking with PSN mandatory. I will not link my accounts. Valve needs to start giving refunds.

Update: Democracy has won. The MBAs at Sony have been laid low. Carry on brothers and sisters.

Zeta's loop combo goes BRRRRRT. Also, it works on my machine.

Edit: It's beyond kino, I can't believe this is Cygame's first 3D game. Cygames, make expansions for it, make more content and I promise I will buy everything.

The gameplay is fast-paced and smooth, the mechs look and feel great, the customization options are plenty. Definitely the best mech game of the past decade or more.

Update after NG+ and midway through NG++:
This is the best game I've played in years, the story and characters are awesome. Especially the characters, you only see icons and hear their voicelines but the acting is pure unfiltered KINO, they're way better than in any RPG I can recall and each one of them is interesting and thought provoking. The atmosphere and SciFi aesthetics are GREAT. You basically have Macross, Dune, Eureka7 and Marathon rolled into one pure package of greatness. The only reason this game won't win GOTY is because it filters normies, casuals and streamers. Any and all mecha and science fiction fans will enjoy this.

The game's visual and music are top notch, gameplay feels a bit clunky coming from zoomzoom titles but is pretty fun. Customization options seem good for now, although I'd expect more weapons and weapon types to be added in the future and more cosmetic options for characters that are not tied to the cashshop. I'm not talking about the queue now since that subject is already exhausted.

Fires of RVBICON waiting room, good game though. Some sort of random mission generator to pump-up more fun would be.

Edit: Fatshark just launched a "big content update" (as in a recycled map and more recycled cosmetics, and a boss copy pasted from Vermintide) and called it a day, too bad that they broke the game for all RDNA cards. Somehow they're supposed to be working on porting the game over to consoles, that's their excuse for no content!lol, and they brick the game for all AMD cards. GG fatshark, maybe if you had your employees in the office for more than 5 hours per day, 4 days a week, you'd be able to release a good product but who needs a good product when you get to roll in that tencent dosh, amiright ?

Nails the 40K aesthetic and the gameplay is solid BUT unfortunately the swesdishfish seems to care more about the cash shop and mobile game gotcha currency than actually releasing a full game and making it playable. Clownfish is literally pushing patches to fix the cashshop while toughness is broken on vet (which is literally gamebreaking on higher difficulties when ANYTHING CAN LITERALLY SLAP YOU TO THE WARP AND BACK 1HITKILL). Performance issues a plenty on every kind of setup, you have to manually disable raytracing from the config file. Also, where's all the weapons and bosses from the trailers ? Why there's only 5 maps ? Where's the Chaos Wastes mode ? I know it's snowing in Sweden and knife crime in Stockholm is going up due to various <<<redacted>>> reasons but cmon swedefish move your @$$ and do something. Also, WHERE IS THE CRAFTING, WHY DO I HAVE TO PRAY TO THE RNG GODS TO BUY SOMETHING I WANT FROM THE SHOP THAT REFRESHES ONCE IN A WHILE ? Clownfish PLS FIX, I know you got me and I can't refund now but I swear to the dear God-Emperor of Mankind I won't buy anything from the clownshop.

Edit: Okay, they've improved the game a bit so changing to a positive review. Still want more story content though since it feels like it has not progressed at all since launch.

Hey Amazon, I like the game but you guys are awful.

So you release a version of the game with a lot of cut content, with all the p2w and progression walls in there and you call it westernized because you did a palette swap on some random NPCs ? And also your translators suck. I hope Smilegate will self publish the game ASAP, good Lord all you guys touch turns out bad :(

If you are a new player you really REALLY do not want to give Bungie any money whatsoever unless you enjoy getting ripped off. Now, you may ask, "Why is that ?" and the short answer is that you will pay $60 for an expansion with about 4-6 hours of story content that has a reskinned activity that you will do until you fall asleep in your chair and then when it comes to actually content, well, they're gonna release that a while after expansion launch and ask for $20 every couple of months so you're gonna do even more reskinned content so you can keep up to the light level cap.
Now at this point, if you're a sensible person just stop giving them money and uninstall, Bungie is a shadow of what they once were and I am amazed I am going to say but they actually treated the player better when Activision was bossing them around (compare current DLC practices and eververse to what it was before they went rogue).

If you're a long time player, I seriously hope you're going to get out soon, it's not good for you man :(
