good game

Clocked in 30h before thoroughly finishing all mainline content while playing at a fast pace. Min-maxing my locations to sell the best dish in the game w/ optimal workers. I could upgrade the worker's stats more, but at this point that is un-necessary. Here are my thoughts on it:

Beautiful but lacking replayability.
The end-game area is extremely small, has 3 fish with set spawn points (no randomization.)
Even the beginning areas that are infrequently randomized are anchored by the layer system and limited tile selections (assuming it truly is randomized, and doesn't just change in a set manner.)
Guns that drop in-mission are just craftable variants- so you really don't need them except in your first hour.
Very easy difficulty, no real penalties to dying.

The atmosphere, visuals, and music are what sells it. Not really anything else.
This game will force you to relax & enjoy yourself.
I don't say that lightly, this game will force the tension from your body.

Dropped $20 for a good time with my buds.
Entire game took like sub 3 hours, crashed several times, online play is dead with not a single lobby.
I love orks, i like the art direction, the combat was passable- but I feel robbed. Way too little content.
Wish I could refund.

Made with so much passion. All the passion. It is hard to find games made with genuine love & passion.

My hour count is low because the genre itself gets dry after a little bit. (Hack & Slash)
Not because of any shortcomings by the author. Flawless execution.

Used to be able to apply your paint job to the glyphid bits- which is why I bought it. Then they removed that feature sometime later. I am sad. Would refund this if i could.

I did not think I would enjoy this game.
Looked way too retro, and the gameplay looked cheesy & simple.

It's pretty simple.
It's very retro.

I have been playing for 3 days straight.

The big skill curve in this game is knowing when to sacrifice / explode your undead.
sacrificing undead does not feel good. I don't like killing my own minions.
Every upgrade is centered around that mechanic. You won't go far if you are not sacrificing your undead.

I am sad.

Did not recommend until recently, thanks to an innumerable number of updates=

(Fixing hounds)
(Reworking fire damage to not TMP HP strip)
The game is in a good state, and I can recommend this title to others.

Here's how the game matches up to vermintide:

Pros:
-Better Graphics
-Better Talent/Build flexability
-Better cosmetic customization

Cons:
-Boring/Repetitive industrial environments
-Less weapon variety
-Weapons are largely RNG, requiring daily logins
-Higher difficulty's special spawns are far higher than cataclysm
-Half of bosses (Daemonhost & BeastOfNurgle) are DPS checks without dodge-able patterns.

Personal gripes:
-Lacking Chaos Wastes roguelite mode most vermintide players swear by.
-No 2h weapon for Ogryn.
-(Ogryn) Knives are useless vs armor, locking them out of high tier play, further reducing weapon variety.

Conclusion:
It's good but you'll get bored quickly.
-Every environment being industrial and metallic grey makes missions blend together.
-The lack of weapon variety makes every combat similar and blend together.
-High Difficulty (Auric) is painful, being focused entirely on hordes of specials not normal enemies.

How to further improve the game:
Make maps that aren't grey and dull (Good luck, it's an imperial hive city.)
Add a more diverse weapon selection
Add Chaos Wastes equivalent
