The beginning is ok but the pacing quickly slows the game down and it turns into a literal idle game where you have no actual impact except letting the game run in the background while playing an actual game

Metroidvanias usually don't have a lot of story but this one somehow manages to break the norm and encapture the player with quite a few "Woah, really?" moments, the fact that some important story elements are optional and must be found by player exploration really works for the formula and rewards the player for being thorough.

Recommend this for anyone who is looking for a nice Metroidvania!

Most likely the most beautiful game I have played in my entire life. Has an amazing soundtrack and a deep story. Funny and funky for the most part.
Left me in tears. 10/10
