There are only two card games that I enjoy, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Inscryption. Yu-Gi-Oh may have a boatload of cards but Inscryption is the game I come to when I want to relax and take a break from the stress. The game's story and gameplay are on a level that I can only describe as a masterpiece, I haven't seen this level of care for a game since Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and with the release of Kaycee's mod the game now has an infinite replayability on top of it. Inscryption is a game that lingers in my mind even after completing it. Wonderful Job!

I am honestly surprised about how they were able to make the game completely not just Free to Play, but with how they handle the monetization of the card packs. Being able to gain all the cards through gameplay is something I haven't seen in a AAA game since Witcher 3 Wild Hunt and the PS2 Era. There is a few gripes I have with the game:

1) The game has it's own banlist as opposed to the OCG and TCG, with both Niburu The Primal Being and Maxx "C" being legal. It's even more exacerbated with Kashtira Fenrir being a semi-limited even though it's banned in the Official Card Game.
2) With that being said, the current meta of the game is heavily focused on Swarm Decks that allow for extremely powerful summons on the first or second turn. The prevalence of hand traps allows such as Ash Blossom and Joyous Spring can allow for an easy One Turn Kill in conjunction with Maxx "C" which have been the metagame for a while and allows for more than 3 effect negates in a single turn, looking at the Soulsword and Baron de Fleur combo.
3) The over-reliance of hand traps in the current meta makes the normal ranked mode infuriating to play at times, Ash Blossom and Joyous Spring has over a staggering 80% usage rate and used to be prevalent in over 90% of all decks, forcing everyone to not only revolve their strategy around these cards, but also having to rely on that card to counter the current meta of swarm decks as Ash Blossom is currently an Unlimited.

As much as I hate these aspects of the current metagame, it is always wonderful to see that the game at the very least has integrity with it's monetization and overall gameplay. What Konami needs to do is not divide the Yu-Gi-Oh community by creating a third banlist, especially with a game that's Free to Play and therefore allows for the game to be accessible to everyone. They need to pick a side for their banlist, either the OCG or TCG.

This game is awesome. It is so simple yet it can be challenging. Im guessing that is how flappy bird was so successful, because of the simplicity of the game. It makes you feel that you are a master kung fu person and that nothing can stop you. Highly addictive, very excellent replayability, This game is a work of art. I highly recommend that everyone should purchase and play this masterpiece of a brawler.
