Out of all the games I've played, none promote poor behavior like this game. It's baked into the game play, which puts you at the mercy of strangers and then punishes you when they don't wordlessly coordinate. I get called slurs. harrassed, bullied, but my reports never do anything.

This game is like heroin; the first time it feels amazing, but the more you play, the worse you feel.

I made it the whole way through without crying and I feel like I need an achievement for that, or I might cry,

Early Access Review
Needs some serious rebalancing. On vanilla settings, it rained constantly for seven days, took the whole day to find a single grass clump with two people looking in opposite directions, and four to find a biome with gold. My partner died standing over the campfire. The darkness prevents- not obscurs, but *prevents*- activating campfires. Supposing you have logs in your inventory but not the ingredients for a torch, you're finished. Supposing you have the ingredients for a torch but haven't made it before darkness, you're finished anyway, because the darkness interrupts the building animation and will often kill you in two hits (approx. 6 seconds).

In a game where combat revolves around hitboxes and animation frames, where you can be killed in seconds so that every moment is crucial, why are the interfaces often so finicky and nuanced? The player icon showing which direction your partner has gone was present sometimes and absent others, with no discernible pattern. The starting portal was lit up at night for our first game, but in the second game it was not.

Every aspect of the map and enemy generation was chance. I don't recommend games that squash you with probability. You should not be assaulted by three shadow beasts, while in freezing rain, on vanilla settings, on the fourth night. Even with two players, that's not hard difficulty. That's unrefined gameplay.

Largely unfulfilling and left us both feeling frustrated.
