Welcome to an action rogue-like!
The aspect of playing with friends is a great concept that I hope to try soon.
The developer is not only friendly but appreciates feedback.
I like the updates they have been pushing out and hope to dive back into the game again soon.
I can recommend this if you are looking for a game to play with some buddies online or local or solo.

Early Access Review
This was my most anticipated game after playing it during two different next fests.
I have to say the game play is solid and the environments are unique plus there is a comedy aspect present.
The only gripe I can mention is performance.
I will be in fights with enemies or bosses and even platforming and the game will stutter or freeze and there doesn't seem to be a way to prevent it.
It being early access is likely the cause but I am very excited to see what else is added and when I can enjoy it without the performance issues being such a nuisance.
If you love metroidvanias like me, Biogun needs to be at the top of your list.

Early Access Review
I have only invested 4.5 hours into Cornucopia so far.
But it has blown me away in the style and game play.
If you are a fan of Stardew Valley you will love the vibes of this game.
I am waiting for the full release to dive into it further.
But grab it while you can before the price increases and you miss the opportunity to play this gem.

If you want an affordable title that has similarities to High on Life then Bears in Space should be your first choice.
They put a lot of passion into this and the game play along with the enemies/bosses is engaging and I didn't dislike any aspect of this game.

Before I get any negative comments, the audio and video aspects are top notch in this game. But the gameplay is dull and boring for me. I don't like how the progression works and it feels more like a semi metroidvania than what you would expect when a game has the tag metroidvania. Is it unique? Sure but that doesn't mean good.
Try it at your own risk.
I can't recommend the way this game plays.

Biogun is my most anticipated game out of everything on Steam.
I have played its demo during two different Next Fest events and each time I was pleasantly surprised by how well designed the game was.
The game play and metroidvania environment is not only immersive but it keeps you so focused that you easily lose track of time.
I cannot wait for Biogun's full release and encourage you to give it a shot because it may end up becoming your most wanted game of the year.

Let me start by saying the art style is beautiful but don't let that fool you. The game can be difficult until you can adapt to the turn based combat system. It involves physical attacks and magical attacks and you build up a gauge to perform an absorption move which then allows you to unlock abilities in a skill tree. I had a hard time progressing in the beginning but once I learned the concept of how it works, I was able to move forward and find my way. It does have a metroidvania feel but that meshes well with the platform element. If you like a variety of genres mixed together, this will be a treat for you.

Bzzzt is a fun but challenging platformer. There is things to collect if you are a seeker of challenges but also an easier difficulty if you like to play a game to complete it. The music, visual style and game play all flowed perfectly together and although the experience is short. It was enjoyable while it lasted. Definitely worth playing if you enjoy retro styled games, platformers or just an adventure to test you.

I had heard mentions of it being like NBA JAM but that's not accurate. Robodunk is a basketball game featuring robots but you can't shoot only dunk. You can upgrade your players, unlock perks and also unlock new players. My biggest complaint was that I was forced to dunk and couldn't shoot. Even having the ability to toggle it on or off would of increased my 5/10 score to like an 8/10. Definitely worth checking out though if only to experience the game but having the ability to freely shoot the ball would of taking me back to the NBA Jam days.

This is a game I didn't know I needed in my life. Project Planet involves 5 players picking a sector they want to play as while the lone player takes Earth and tries to eliminate the others. AI/Bots are also available if needed but I found the random/friends element added a different dynamic compared to just using the bots. You go through various scenarios and make choices that can help or hurt your team, meanwhile Earth is just trying to cause as much damage as possible so that you cannot recover. The goal is to save humanity by making choices so that the population doesn't reach 0 by the end of the game. But if humanity lives the person with the highest score is seen as the winner. Its also been mentioned that more content is on its way so lots more to look forward too. The team behind the game are also friendly and try to help you understand the game as well so overall if you are looking for a new party game, give this a shot. (Only the host needs to own the game)
There is a serious issue that must be mentioned, the support team behind the developers leave me with a negative impression after only a few hours of conversation with their staff that moderates in the community. It does not give a positive outlook for the game or for those who represent it and I must heed caution if you represent the game or the team behind it at this present moment. I will be boycotting it until there are better practices in their environment and would advise that you do the same.
