A short but fun Metroidvania style game made in tribute to a pair of infamous fantasy adventure games. And not only being made in tribute to those games, but various notable YTPers also had a part in this game's production, such as art assets or animation. I hope this game opens the doors to more CDi-likes, or even doing "done right" spiritual successors to bad/poorly received games.

Just... Don't wait several months for Limited Run to ship out their copies.

The children yearn for Aperture Science

A fun follow-up to the 2018 remaster of Katamari Damacy. Hoping for more Katamari content (be it more Rerolls or even new games) in the future!

As someone who started gaming in the 2000s, Hi-Fi Rush really struck a chord (lol) with me. It feels like a light experimental game that would have been put out on the Xbox or PS2, and I don't mean that in a "it's dated/clunky" type of way. I loved this game from start to finish (even if I did have a lot of trouble on the final boss but that's mainly because I suck at parrying.) The characters, the music, the visual style/art direction, the game design... I love everything about this game and I want to see more games like this from Tango and other big developers.

I guess my main criticisms are the lack of controller vibration for beat timing and (not super spoiler territory but I'm doing this anyways) kinda abrupt moments where you very, very briefly play as 2 different characters, with the latter being during the final boss. The first isn't so bad since you're just walking, but the 2nd could have been replaced with a rhythm button input.

Anyways, personal Game Of The Year right here, please pick it up, I was legit kicking myself for not playing this game sooner.

It doesn't require uPlay/Ubisoft Connect 10/10

A fun little arcade-esque game that's easy to play but hard to master. Worth the full price of admission.

I wish Italians were real.

All the pre-existing arcade games on here are just NES ROMs updated to say ©BNEI. Only worth getting for the Pac-Man Championship NES Demake, and even then, I wouldn't recommend it for more than $5
