I played this game for 24 mintues, and in that time i can say i had zero fun. This game is possibly the most boring shooter with a interesting concept. Voice acting was a negative, the fact i gained like 20 achivements for just existing and playing the game as normal was boring. I would not have payed 800 microsoft points on the xbox 360 arcade, had this game been launched there, in 2008 after the housing crisis. Im writing this negative review because this game taunt me to hate.

UPDATE: I played with a friend and the game yet again proved to me how i can be wrong, and to hate even more. The gameplay with a friend was turned up to 11 (and by 11 i mean litterally from 0 to 1 on the scale from 1-10.) artificial difficulty was CRAZY, i loved having enemies randomly spawn behind me and 1 shot me, this is fun and fair gameplay. Gunplay was awful and theres not a single chance anybody is playing this game 7 months from release. This game has a truly interesting concept but was executed, as should the developers. ( this is a joke, people likely spent too long working on this for it to be this bad)

My main issue is truly just how bad the game feels to play, and looks. Its like if you took a generic scifi, turned all of the nice graphics on, and forgot how to make a game fun. Finding the little upgrade things are "interesting" and using them is even more "interesting". I spent an hour with a friend and the game still bored me, so much so that after our first death i felt so unenthused i ended our goon session. You ruined a perfect good goon session.

So i have a problem sticking with games, but over the year+ ive owned this game i have constantly returned to make more and more overpowered and crazy builds and just praying for the right augment to make me go even further beyond! NOTHING MORE FUN than getting the shotgun wand to reset-gain mana-and blast the entire room. Game is worth every single penny of fun action and exploration. Once i figured out the surface held more than just the entrance to the game, i really found just how much this game meant to me.

This game burns hours of my life, and i havent been happy.

Game is so fun to break and to try new builds on new characters, and unlocking them feels like the games of old, where hard work actually payed off. <3
