Fun little adventure game. Excellent production values, compelling plot, and intuitive mechanics.

I haven't finished the game yet, but I like what i've seen so far; old school platforming with run 'n gun elements. Fair, even generous checkpointing system, humble yet endearing graphics. All in all something I would recommend in short bursts, well worth the modest price, even better if (like me) you get it in a bundle!

As much as I tried, I could never really get into this game; the random nature of the coin drops/draws made this less a game of skill than of luck. The art style is charming, the controls tight (yay controller support!), and there seems to be plenty of content. Feel free to write this off as someone who just wasn't good enough, but I really just didn't have fun with this game... Delete

Fun little game, needs controller support.

Fun game, but I hate it when a game has a console version which, obviously, features controller support, yet there's no corresponding support on the PC version. Whatever, I'm review #3891, I doubt anyone will ever read this anyway.

Gave it a shot; it's promising, but i wish they could've patched in controller support (hell, the game WAS released on 360 in some form, it can't be that hard).

I didn't really "get" this when it was in Early Access; now that it's nominally in final release, I think Double Fine owes each of its owners a copy of Psychonauts 2.

Early Access Review
What the hell is this!? It's like one of those crude demos they make of games to show in Law & Order or some other TV show when they don't want to pay for the rights to show an actual game!

These are just my initial impressions, but I've found the game to be charming as hell, with simple, effective graphics, tight platforming, fun music, and (as many have noted previously) a dash of Sonic thrown in for good measure.

Simple, but effective shooter. Having first played some of Mr. Marrable's (the developer's) more recent efforts, this game does indeed come off as slightly amateurish in comparison. Make no mistake, however, despite the more primitive look and feel, there is definitely a great deal of fun to be had!
