I'm 14 hours in and the gameplay is really solid. There's a satisfying difficulty to some of the bosses, exploration is fun and rewarding. The character development and storytelling are really good.

This is all incredibly well complimented by the lovely art style and sound design. So far it's one of the best metroidvania's I've played in a while.

Fantastic game to play with friends. It's got a few annoying bugs but the devs are actively working on fixes alongside releasing new content. Can't wait to see where they take the game.

Also suck it Sony

Devs apparently think having a gender identity is political, banning all use of such conversation from the in game chat.

Do yourself a favour and go into this blind if you can.

It's a fantastic game with some really interesting story telling that you unravel as you progress.

This was a great co-op shooter until Overkill decided they needed to add microtransactions despite explicitly saying they would never do this.

The latest update rebalanced a large amount of the weapons around skins obtained via safes (TF2's boxes, CS:GO's loot system). The skins you can buy give relatively minor stat boosts but the weapons are balanced in a way that they need a minor boost to push them over a break point (to a point where they were prior to the safes being introduced).
Not only can you now 'pay to win', when you open a safe you can unlock a skin for a weapon that's in a DLC pack you might not even own...you can pay for a skin, then not be able to use it unless you pay another $5 for the relevant DLC.

The first game with better swinging than Spiderman 2.
