Let me first say that I have been waiting for this game to come out since the end or Ori and the blind forest. Ori is one of the few games that have made me just stop walking or working towards whatever im doing and just admire the area's. From the start to end the game is stunning to look just watch as the colors and artwork just blend together and transition from one area to another. The soundtrack is also well done and the music sets the correct tone for each area and change as the game progress.
The combat has been redone as well, O&BF's combat was more focused on: Kite the foe, dodge everything you can, spam attack button, repeat till foes defeated. Now the combat resembles an system that is suited to let the player choose a play style. You can knock your foe into the air and juggle them, fast swipes while backing away, dance above the battlefield like some anime hero. Mixed with a healthy weapon selection and ability's, there is a combo/style of weapons and play that you will feel like is your style of fighting, without it being forced.
That being said, I do have some issues with the game, more minor but that are some larger issues that ruined the immersion of the game for me. This game has bugs, some are minor such as Ori holding a map with the force, but there are bigger bugs that ruin the flow of the game. As of now there is a Audio bug that can happen were a loud "Btzzz" sound will play when audio or music overlaps with each other, and is currently being looked into by the devs. I personally have encountered a black screen where i can hear Ori taking damage, move and attack, but wouldn't be resolved without restarting the game, luckily for me this only happened once. Other minor bugs like graphical glitches, teleporting when killed by bog left me leaving the game with the sense there wasnt any bug testers or even a trial done to ensure quality of life after the first 3 hours of gameplay.

TLDR: This is a great game that has a world and story that can captivate you and is a good squeal to O&BF, while having some bugs the game is still great and once fixed of minor bugs highly recommend this game to anyone whos on the fence about it.

A very good game for those with a lot of time on their hands. While there is a solid learning curve almost anyone can learn the basics and perform well in the campaign. While the multiplayer aspect can be difficult at times due to lag or minor errors every now and then, the performance of the game is great for how much is on the field at once.
