Excellent little game that has a LOT of content. Highly recommand it.
Feels similar to the first Subnautica - minus the threat of beeing eaten all the time. Therefore it is a chill experience.
Has a ton of interesting mechanics that give it its own unique twist.

Once you progress the map changes constantly, opening up new areas and biomes and makes exploring and revisitng places you thought you have allready explored a real delight.

The graphics are more on the "Meh" side but you can still see that a lot of love has been put in.

(While writing this I am in the early bio-phase (got butterflies now) - so i can't say how animals will look/feel - but I intend to get there)

Do not worry if some mechanics (f.e. gathering food/water or obtaining rare/valueable ressources) feel tideous at first - you get multiple tools to work with them - and they get less annoying the further you progres in the game.

absolute gem - if you like turn-based rpg a must

including (and not limited to)
- burning heretics with flamers
- burning demons with flamers
- burning xenos with flamers

(Note: beginning is a little "linear" - you get full control over your ship after the opening act (after first mission on footfall) - an then the fun REALLY begins ;)

Not even Diablo himself could bother to show up for this...

uninspired, clunky, constant advertisements in your face
boring classes, boring skills, boring enemies

"open world" - more like endless tunnels - D2 felt more open world than this

at least they got back to gore and blood and try so hard that the edgy boys can be happy now...

for whoever cares: free trial ends at lvl 20 (~2h gameplay) and doesn't care if you lvl up to 20 in the bossfight of a dungeon - you get kicked out!

masterpiece

a true RPG

only (very minor complaints):
1 - UI is a little crowded (especially towards the end when you have a baziilion abbilities and items)
2 - i *HATE* D&D 5 edition (has nothing to do with the game itself - but the base rules it is build on are absolute garbage imho)

Disclaimer: I never got into Harry Potter (♥♥♥♥♥ stole from Narnia anyways) - so no clue if this game is representative of the IP or not.
Somewhat decent open world story rpg game.
Combat is entertaining and getting new spells for carnage is a blast.
Enemy variety is abysmal - Wolfs, Spiders, Turtles, Goblins, Trolls, Humans, Zombies. That's it (yeah they come in reskin variations - but for such a high fantasy setting this is really disapointing).
Lots of physic/logic based puzzles. Got the same vibes as from more open world-ish lego games (if you ever played one of those).
Exploring Hogwards is fun - focus on development definitvly went there - the outside world is way less interesting.
Story is okay, Voice acting too.
Fun for 30-40hrs.
Won't have much replayability though as this is one of those RPGs where non of your choices matters anyway and is just for fluff.
IMHO not worth 60 bugs.

Neat little game in the spirit of XCOM if XCOM was Deadlands.

Do not expect big RPG elements - its a tactic game with some neat mechanics and set pieces, but not that much depth in regards of skills, weapons, builds etc.

Story is solid - whole campaign feels a little short (roughly 20-30 hours on hard, that is with a lot of reloading/retrying to get all objectives :D)

Bad thing: i dont see much replayability (besides try to 100% everything) to be honest as story is linear without any real choices and no meta-gameplay (like XCOM basebuilding + funding)

If you like turn-based tactics or are a big Deadlands Fan - go for it.

Starts strong and realy enjoyable until you reach T2 - then pacing comes to a grinding halt.
After T3 (Punika) goes into complete boring mode.
Way to much RNG and timegating in everything besides the main storyline. (Want to do a worldboss today? To bad they are scheduled tomorrow. Want this island soul? Kill this pirate captain that has a 0,000001% chance to drop a bag that has a 0,000001% chance to have the island soul...

PvP is in 90% boring as matchmaking is drunk constantly (seems completly fair to match 2 deathblades and a sorceress against 2 bards and a gunslinger...) and PvP is reduced to stunlock-combos for most classes.

I'm personally not a fan of raid/bossfights that play like synchron-swimming combined with memory...

So do i recommand this? Yeah, why not... give it a try - don't expect much challenge though - and the moment you get frustrated/bored - don't fetch your credit card - just deinstall :)

A worthy follow-up to the first one.

+ A lot of new cool rooms, gadgets & tools
+ More compact map-layout (less large empty spaces than part one)
- The hoverbike sucks
- It took only 2 dialogues to make me hate the main character (=you) - next time go back to silent protagonist ;)
