Grand Theft Auto V is one of the greatest games ever made. Now that Rockstar and Take-Two have listened to their community and ceased their attacks on OpenIV, I can recommend purchasing GTA V again.

However, absolutely DO NOT purchase GTA V in any form or support Take-Two Interactive in any way. Take-Two Interactive decided to send a cease-and-desist letter to the makers of OpenIV, the most popular modding tool for the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

By doing this, Take-Two is attacking the dedicated community that has supported the Grand Theft Auto franchise for over a decade. Mods breathe life into older games and encourage people to purchase them. Rockstar themselves have even shared videos of modded content. Take-Two should be rewarding the dedicated minds behind OpenIV who have certainly increased the franchise's sales and success. They absolutely should not be punishing them for making a fantastic game even greater.

Again, DO NOT purchase GTA V or anything from Take-Two Interactive unless they rescind the cease-and-desist letter and allow OpenIV to continue development.
