Beautifully made (I played the redux version that came free with my copy so my comments are about that version only) with a rich soundtrack and entertaining story and while it doesn't lay things out for you idiot-style there are plenty of walkthroughs online if, like me, you have little gaming time and don't like to waste it looking for plot points.

If you like narrative/walking sim games with some puzzles to solve along the way then you should definitely give this a try while it's on offer. I do think it's overpriced at full whack, though (full price £14.99 at time of writing).

Beautiful music, pretty backgrounds but glacial pace (honestly, this story in a walkthrough game where you could move at jogging speed would have been played out in an hour) and this really isn't what I would call a game so much as a linear story you are told as you move from waypoint to waypoint. Very, very, VERY overpriced.

Quietly beautiful, just the right amount of challenge, a bit different and worth the money even though it's pretty short (I got 4 hours out of it). I would love to see more of this story told...

Very pretty little game that, for me, was ruined by stupid, speed-click-action, pixelly minigames that allow not one single very time-sensitive misclick if you're to progress and are the exact opposite of what I'm looking for when I buy puzzly games. If an option to skip those segments or take an alternative solution was included my review of this game would be glowing. As it is, I can't honestly say my overall experience was enjoyable, which is a real shame.

A few enjoyable hours of highly atmospheric puzzling. A lot of effort has clearly gone into the attention to detail, the satisfying little clicks of mechanisms and whirring of gears, golden brass and polished wood. The puzzles themselves I found to be just the right difficulty to keep me interested without being frustrated. If you appreciate quality I highly recommend this; I was genuinely a little sad when I finished it.

Tragically flawed. It freezes literally every few minutes for me and I have a good spec PC (good, not awesome-bleedingedge-barely out of beta hardware that can be blamed for these problems); if you pause on the menu and walk off for 5 minutes it's running ultra-slow when you get back; the graphics are clippy in places or have textures that don't load properly.

This game has been butchered for a quick buck and it's a disgrace because the design is beautiful, the story compelling and so on; so many good things that are wasted because the dire implementation will not let me immerse.

Don't touch it til they've fixed it unless you have very low standards.

Shooting everything that moves is worryingly addictive.
