Hello boys and girls it's Joker here, this review/guide is primarily made for those that have experienced issues getting this amesome game to run under Windows 7, 8 & 10.. I'm currently using Windows 10 (Windows 7 up intil 4 months ago) but i know it would probably work just the same.

So, let's begin shall we..
Let me just say that installing the game caused my system to give me some kind of error message stating that the game installation could not get the required update due to it being locked after not receiving full access etc? (Err, Wot..TILT?!)
Anyway, i figured it out by following a few simple steps!
Step 1) Remove the contents from your library by first canceling the installation process and afterwards clearing the games cache (the game must be greyed out so to speak).
Step 2) Go over to your Windows Steam folder (Program Files x86, Steam, SteamApps, Common,..) followed by selecting the corresponding C&C 3 file and deleting it accordingly.
Step 3) Restart your computer.
Step 4) Start Steam and install the game again, which should now work correctly..
Step 5) Start the game normally.
Step 6) This next step is a bit tricky and will most likely cause your system to hang/freeze but you can easily fix that by restarting the system once more.. (No worries, just use crtl + alt + del and in case you can't fully use the task manager, simply 'force' the PC to quick restart without actually rebooting it.)
*So, let me discuss (Step 6) a bit further now. You would like to change settings to your personal choosing, so just set the game according to your optimal/automated settings.
*Do not set the monitor settings to maximum just yet or it will be guarateed to crash (you can do that afterwards).
*Get into the game once more and you'll notice that your settings are now adjusted/adjustable..
In case your system would still crash, just repeat the previous steps and all will be working fine afterwards.
Step 7) Enjoy C&C 3!!! When done correctly give me a thumbs up guys, that's all i'm asking. :)
Step X) Use the same solution for C&C 3: Kane's Wrath.

Now for my short review:
I still have the original disc copies at home and i must have played both C&C 3 + Kane's Wrath for many, many years..
That's why i decided to buy them on Steam hoping i could still be playing and enjoying them here while using Windows 10.
I must say that i'm really pleased that this game for me at least remains the same just the way it was all those years ago.
Therefore i can only recommend it with my own personal thumbs up and an additional score of 8.5/10 in my book!
It's still a great game, so why should i need to say more right?
For those that might still have some doubts, buy it when it's on -75% off sale, it's really worth it and if you think not, just refund it!
