Why do I need to jump through hoops to recover my username but it takes one step to reset my password?

EDIT: 348 hours later the password reset function is also garbage. When trying to type a new password steam overlay pops up for no reason and doesn't allow me to type any information in. absolutely garbage game. Would recommend.

It's been a month since I've had my points reset. A couple days after I emailed all the required screenshots and information i received an email stating that they were looking into it. At this point I'm assuming that I will never get my bloodpoints back. I also got a couple of my friends to buy this game to play together and was only able to do so for a couple weeks. Really dissapointing.

Don't buy this game if you're not okay with the possibility of having all progress lost with no chance of refund. Literally unplayable.
