Game of the decade... Truly, it is... I love it. And it is the first game for a long time that managed to make me play it so much.

BUT...

Only the vanilla release day version. Every single hotfix and patch after it was made only to break the game more and more every time. They state about 1000 fixes every patch, but some of them are not even actually still fixed (hi, doors). And on top of that they are keep adding 2000 new bugs and glitches and degradations every time. While also successfully fixing cool features instead of critical bugs (fixing possibility to transform the statue into the sheep is surely is more important, then everything else).

So, Larian, tell me, why players must be your beta testers? Why can't you keep building that Definitive Version without breaking your game every week with patches? Just rollback to vanilla version, and test all of your changes before releasing one single Definitive Version. But yes, i know that this is impossible now, because saves are not backward compatible...

So if you want to play this game, get the vanilla release day version (or carefully choose a patch, which you really need to have). Otherwise, wait for Definitive Edition... If it is gonna ever happen.

Top puzzles, gameplay, visuals, atmosphere, lore, story.

Beautiful visuals and calm music.
Solid complicated puzzles (maybe a bit too hard and unclear sometimes though).
Multiplayer (always a big plus for room escapes).

No option to restart room in multiplayer without exit to main menu.

*it's fine, nothing special though, but maybe even good that it doesn't interrupt gameplay that much

Also can add, that this game is really pretty hard even on normal difficulty, so don't rush to hard option.
Amount of ammo and healing items are very good balanced. Play carefully. Don't waste everything.
Really feels like a surviving game.
Puzzles are very well crafted as well. It's very satisfying, when you find the correct solution (that puzzle with triangles, so good). Ammount of hints is just right.
It easily takes a spot in the list of my favourite games.

Best Amanita Design game to date, and quite different from their usual quests.
It probably took some inspiration from Braid.
Great art and puzzles.

Fantastic visuals, beautiful music, funny dialogues, characters you care about, and voice acting in Klonoa style.

A bit slow and boring start (please, don't judge voice acting by humans characters - it is kinda bad there, yes), but as soon as you will reach real game, everything will become great.

Jokes persist even on Steam Trading Cards!

Impressive game.

Слегка с багами, слегка с кривым управлением, слегка с запутанными настройками.
Но идея и механики (особенно к концу игры) - невероятные.
И простор для исследования уровней зашкаливает.
Однозначно маст плей.
