Now that the server issues have been (as far as I have been able to tell) smoothed over, I can comfortably recommend this game to people. It's one of only two gachas I play currently, the other being Final Fantasy Brave Exvius on mobile, because I can coast very nicely on free content with no issues, plus the game is decently generous with free spins around events and holidays.

The gameplay is slow and heavy, deliberately so, to give each machine a sense of weight and heft. You may notice your turning speed to be very slow, and cranking your sensitivity will not help as your turn speed is a literal statistic for your machine. The game operates on a sort of rock-paper-scissors system with General-, Support- and Raid-type suits. General suits are standard frontline fighters, strong against Raids but exposed to Supports. Support suits are typically either long-range snipers or fully-loaded heavy weapons, dominating Generals but very easily thwarted by Raids. Raid suits are most often high-speed or melee-oriented suits, squishy but hard-hitting, especially against supports, but weak to Generals.

The game's content is focused solely on the Universal Century Gundam timeline, so while you won't see anything from SEED, 00, G Gundam or Witch from Mercury, everything from the Original series, Z, ZZ, Char's Counterattack, Unicorn and every side story in-between, whether they're the big OVAs like 08th MS Team and 0083 Stardust Memory, mangas like Advance of Zeta and Moon Gundam, video games like Blue Destiny and Missing Link or even the MSV design compilations.

A lot of the current Overwhelmingly Negative reviews at time of writing (6/15/2023) are due to the server issues. While they are better now and are continuing to be fixed, this is a Japanese game... and a Bandai-Namco one, at that. They really could give two hoots about any country's internet besides their own, where they probably rarely have any issues. Ask any Tekken or Super Smash Bros. player, Bandai-Namco really doesn't care too much about how well Westerners can play online. That all being said, the actual video game in here is very good, very worth your time (when it works) and does not demand your money like other gachas and F2Ps might. If you love Universal Century Gundam, play this game for sure. If you like slow, heavy mecha games, give this a shot.

I've only had the one 3-hour session with it, but I am thoroughly enjoying this game! Between the silly atmosphere and the satisfying, if sometimes overwhelming, combat, this is a great game. I also feel particularly targeted by a lot of these easter eggs and references sprinkled in! Don't just gloss over this as "just another boomer shooter," or "just another brightly-colored indie game," this is worth your time and money.

One of my favorite trilogies in all of storytelling, lovingly remastered for the modern age. While the extensive changes to Mass Effect 1 take center stage, I was far more taken aback by the significant updates to Mass Effect 2, some of which are noticeable from moment one!

At time of writing, there are a minor few technical issues (largely just animation and audio bugs), but certainly nothing completely game-breaking. Certainly even these will be fixed at some point.

All in all, this is exactly what any Mass Effect fan might want (aside from a proper ME4).

The absolute classic FPS trilogy, plus Reach, ODST and 4, this is well worth its full price, even more worth it if you can get a discount. Plug in a controller and transport yourself right back to the good ol' days, or come experience the legendary series for the first time.

I have a mixed opinion on this game.

On the one hand, the characters are very appropriately likeable/hateable as they should be. The main quest line has all the Fallout story parts put together well enough. The changes made to the combat are amazing and easily the best part of the game.

I really like this game, but it doesn't feel like a good Fallout game.

The RPG elements are dumbed down, you're kinda forced to be a good guy in one way or another (no blatantly evil options like Caesar's Legion) and while the voice actors for the players are good (I'll admit some of the moments wouldn't be as impactful without a voice reading them), I stand by my claim that giving the protagonist a voice was a huge mistake. Some RPGs like Mass Effect benefit from voiced protagonists, some don't.

Of course, mods make everything better, but with the protagonists being voiced, that makes quest and companion mods impossible and pointless.

Overall, this is a great game that is held back severely by a massive dumbing down of things that made the previous games great and immersive. I still recommend it, but advise you to remember not to hold it up against it's predecessors. You'll only be disappointed.

Early Access Review
A fantastic game only hampered by the number of players who have no clue how to play it.

This is a fantastic game. A bit difficult to get into, but fun to play nonetheless.

This game is amazing. If you've tried getting into games like DOTA and League of Legends and found that it's just not for you, this might tickle your fancy. It's hard, but it's easier to get into than Dota or League. It's also a shooter, not an RTS. I recommend watching TotalBiscuit's "WTF is... Super Monday Night Combat" on YouTube to get a feel for it. The game itself also has many tips to get you going. And it's funny as HELL! All in all, DAN OUDA DAN!

Historical comedy has always been funny to me. And combining that with competetive mayhem? Well, you have a match made in Heaven! Not to mention the fact that all of the rocks have different funny faces. Imagine if Marble Madness combined with a tower defense game and had a versus mode. That's what this game is, and that's why it's great.

AEIOU.

No seriously, this game is pretty cool. As hilarious as the text-to-speech is, there is a real game behind that. It's an excellent and rather educational simulator. And educational games usually suck, unlike Moonbase Alpha. Think of it as Moon Simulator 2010, if you will.
