I put almost 100 hours on this game in the course of a few of weeks. If you like 3D modeling and being able to make and immediately be able to play with your creations in game and share them with others then you will get hooked.

You can host or play persistant worlds where players can come and go exploring randomly generated terrain and unique wildlife.

The game is alpha still but VERY playable and few bugs. I've played for hours at a time without a glitch or crash, though currently the game may run out of memory after some hours until the 64-bit version is ready.

There is a little bit of story in single player, but I enjoy hopping on multiplayer servers and meeting others in game.


UPDATE: over 650 hours in and it's still my favorite game despite whatever bugs come and go through its early development. Pathea is doing a great job listening to players and making things right for us!

This game has excellent support for the Linux community. There is a native linux client and a headless server that is very easy on resources, even when run on a small VPS.
